Simple question: how do you use them?
I mean, do you carry a flashlight with you and light up the disc with it occasionally to keep it glowing?
And how well does it show when it's almost perfectly dark?
This has been possibly asked before, but impossible to find, sorry.
i'm going to buy a comet and a magic, but which weight and plastic would you recommend?
I want them to be quite durable but still do their job well (eliminate oat).
Seriously, why is this not already available? The only reason why i don't play at winter/night-time(which starts at like 3pm at the worst time of year) is because i can't find my discs!
This kind of a thing would be awesome.
In Finland, disc golf is officially called frisbee golf. There aren't really other widely used terms for the sport here.
This is just an example, an official sign to the only pro-level course in Helsinki:
I don't have a problem with that though
In Europe, I have only played near where i live, Helsinki, Finland and the best courses here are Tali (Helsinki) and Nummelanharju (Vihti), in my opinion. There is a new 18-hole course in Hyvinkää too, haven't tried it yet though.
Tali is also known for the tournament Tali Open. Nikko Locastro...
It could very well be the disc if itäs beat up... I can throw my champion p&a aviar straight up to 230 feet currently, but my old dx p&a aviar will always turn over on throws longer than ~120 feet.
Awesome! I'll probably always check this site when i think i need some new disc.
The white "shadows" in the text at the yellow box (disc details) looks really bad though.
I accidentally bought a Star Valkyrie+. I don't know how rare they are, i just picked one from the pile at a disc golf shop and later i realized that the rim is totally slanted.
I like the rim (easy to release), and i did my distance record with this disc.
According to the course map all the holes are par 3. Also, during daytime there are sunbathers etc. near the fairways of couple of the last holes. The buildings are just normal apartment buildings.
The course might be nearest to the airport, but not the best near helsinki/vantaa.
