[Recommend] Most sensitive discs?

neutral flying stuff gives good feed back on you ,not the disc.......i made early improvements with mako. it will hold the angle you release and help you make corrections. stuff thats too flippy will get you going down the hyzer flip road. not the best form. thats what happen to me, now trying to break that habbit with more stable stuff.

Hyzer flipping is bad form? I think a lot of people would disagree with that.

I would for sure' almost every consistent thrower uses some degree of hyzer in the release even sometimes for straight or shots which turn right.. I probably throw 90% of my shots this way and find it MUCH easier than trying to throw exactly flat (which I would even argue is nearly impossible)

Once you get to some drivers grab the River. It will punish bad form and reward good form with some heavenly glide and distance!

Putters, Lids, and Comets.

I would suggest trying a Superhero. If you can throw that cleanly at full power, your form is pretty darn smooth.
Yep. See also: Whistler, Zephyr. Also good: Polecat, Rattler, Birdie, Sonic
I'm a big fan of throwing putters. It's helped my game a ton. However, somthing for you to think about, drivers are actually more sensitive when it comes to nose angle.
Yep. Always recommended to keep a slow fairway driver around for nose angle practice.
Seasoned speed Six fairway drivers (Cheetah, Cyclone, Gazelle, Leopard, etc.) or a seasoned moderately overstable mid (DX Roc is the best example), all in base plastic. You'll learn a lot by throwing them.
Those drivers are great, also throw in the Polaris and JLS in Millennium plastic.

x comet, neutral putters like aviar pna, magnet, magic, etc (not wizards, VPs, etc)
Yep, avoid the really overstable molds (anything with a big bead mostly, also the Zone).

I know I would disagree with that. Hyzerflipping everything is definitely better than throwing flex shots all the time and way easier to line shape than throwing flat.

Been thinking about the same thing. Seems that both putters and drivers have some advantages over each other, what about midranges, could/should you ditch those for learning period?

I've been thinking of playing with just putter for month or two and then adding midranges and finally drivers, but I'm afraid of those nose angle issues. Maybe just use one type of neutral putter and one neutral fairway driver?

I prefer an anhyzer release. I can, and often do, hyzer-flip, but when I get my druthers, I'm throwing a flex shot. For both backhand and forehand.

I have been trying to work on my form, so I got a comet and element to mess with. When I throw both of them with a flat release they go straight for 100' -150' or so, they start tailing right (while still flat, they do not flip and turn on me). Am I throwing to hard for the speed of the disc, or is that still a sign of OAT?

^try adding a different degrees of hyzer and if the disc stays straight or even hyzers out then you are probably throwing pretty clean but if you add hyzer and it still turns the same then likely oat. from flat the discs can/could drift slowly right.

Cool. Thanks. I will play around with it more.

The discs i use for practicing certain angles off release etc are:

Opto Pure: as a lot of guys recommend throwing putters really helps you getting more distance and better release.

Mako/Mako3: This disc will fly exactly how you released it, if you hyzer it it will go left if you OAT it will go hard right, if you do it right it will fly nice and straight for you.

River: This is one is really nose angle sensitive and forces you to throw smooth.

I can't third the River suggestion enough. Throwing Rivers has taught me how to control nose angle on my drives, which has done more for my consistency off the tee than any other disc. I still stink, but virtually never stall out on my drives anymore. Throwing the River regularly really helped me learn how to throw fairways.

Mid ranges have benefits too. They are less no angle sensitive but they are still great for form work. Neutral mids like comets and makos are great for learning.

Personally, I think each has their advantages. In spending much of my energy working how to throw fairways nose angle down this season, my comfort level with midranges (which for me seem to want more arm/wrist and less body rotation) has suffered. Each throws differently, so it's a balance, IMHO.

I've been throwing Comets for years so here is my list from experience.

Drivers
Latitude 64 River

Midranges
Discraft Comet
Latitude 64 Fuse
Gateway Element

Putters
Gateway Magic
Discraft Rattler

On the Putters anything will basically work as long as it isn't crazy overstable like a Zone or something. Putters require a different line and better form to throw correctly so that's why many people say to throw putters.

This is the list I feel that will work best in creating good form. My Comets helped sculpt my form. I'm a hyzerflipper and the Comet helped to create that style for me.
