[Other] Most Boring Disc in Your Bag...

I'd have to say my Claymore. First disc I bought @ Dynamic Discs KC. I use it for dog-leg right holes and any upshot that need to stay on an anny line the entire way.

This thing goes exactly where I want it to every shot...for example - Peter Pan Park hole #16 (I think) is a Dog-leg right that finishes in a narrow tunnel. Last time I was there I threw a perfect line and had to of been parked 5' away IF that. We'll never know though as some 900-year old Chinese lady came up around the hill and chucked it back at us and said something in Chinese and wadded away.

Specialty discs are boring, only in that they are only used sparingly, and often not spectacularly. For me it's the Fireball.

Easily the Volt. Mine is more HSS than most but doesn't have a huge fade. I just rip it hard and it goes straight. It requires no skillful technique to throw and it drops out of the sky when it is done with a very straight flight. Which makes it very useful but also pretty boring. No cool OS flex trick shots like my Zone, no magic-looking Comet shots, no insane Missilen flights...just straight lines.

I would say lately it is my Mace. I only carry one and I don't throw it often, so most of the time it sits in my bag bored out of its mind. The Gator has been getting most of my mid range shots because of the wind. Once it calms down the Mace will come back out.

I think that stable midranges are the most boring discs to ever exist; Roc, Buzzz, Truth, Yao, whatever it is.

They all go about 300 with almost no turn and a gentle fade.

But I challenge anyone to build a bag without one.

We all have that disc in our bag that is just not fun to throw...

You can't kick the disc out of the bag because it is exceptionally reliable at performing its job.

For me, the Scale is really boring to throw. I know I designed the mold but man oh man is it just a boring disc to throw. It isn't capable of tons of distance or eye popping drives.. but it does its job well. Bring on any winds and conditions, the Scale WILL be the disc I grab for the upshot. Time and time again I will toss the Scale into winds that would eat up other PnA molds and it just settles on down by the pin. I love it... but is a snoozer :|

What disc sits in your bag and is just not fun to throw... but you cannot take it out!

Funny. Yeah i agree the Scale rules for upshots even with winds.

--I'll say the Justice....I love it, but it comes out fairly rare, and its so stupid OS that sometimes I wonder if I should just take it out....but then I have a short forehand shot that needs to cut hard and I neeeeeeeed it

The Zone would be mine. It gets old dropping every upshot inside of 10' of the pin.

Zone is becoming very predictable, which is boring in a sense, but the holes I throw it on keep it from getting boring because you can always get a Dela Roll, and the Zone is prone to that. Today I made two perfect throws with my Zone. Upshot on Hole 2 went exactly where I wanted it to land, then propped up on its edge and rolled 50 feet away behind a tree. Drive on Hole 12 was the best park I've ever had on that island hill green, behind/over a bushy tree, much love to the Zone.

I'd say the Medium Pure I use for putts is the most boring. Ho hum, I'm in putting range, grab the putter. Whether it goes in or not, is not so boring, since I'm not the greatest putter ;)

My most overstable wizard isnt very exciting but gets the job done

Probably gonna get flamed for this, but for me it's the ROC3 and Leopard.

Just noticed the other day that I haven't thrown either one in weeks. Today I played two heavily wooded courses (one of them twice) and never even made a passing glance at either one.

Wizard. It just shows up near, or in, the basket.

^^This is my answer. Even when it comes to just putts. It's not the flashiest disc, and I'm not always on with my putts, but it's consistent. Even when I have a bad putting day, it's because I'm not hitting my first putt, not because I'm missing a come back that originally blew past the basket.

I keep it flashy.

Why would i bag a boring disc?! Motion probably the most meh flying but with a Einstine face its all good.

My most boring disc is probably the Roadrunner. I just use it when I need a little more distance than what I get from the fairway drivers, it's not a very inspiring disc to throw. For me it flies straight, perhaps a very tiny turn. I can't make it do many things, I basically only use it for extra distance. On the courses around me I usually do fine throwing just fairway drivers, so luckily I don't need to bring it out often

I would say my FAF Firebird when throwing BH/FH, but that all changes when I bust out the FH rollers and thumbers. Any disc has the potential to be fun and interesting depending how you throw it!

Scale for sure. Awesome disc that has become a staple of my P&A game, but very boring.

I agree with others on here regarding the Buzzz, it's my most boring disc. Somehow, I just can't take it out of the bag because when I do, I tend to need it, straight tunnel shots with very little fade.

I just love watching disc flight too much to call any of my discs boring. Also, no shot is boring when well executed. I throw Pigs anytime I have a hyzer line inside about 220 or so and that's pretty much the only shot I throw with a Pig. However, when a hyzer drive or upshot lands 10 feet from the basket and stays there, that's never boring to me. :)

Probably Serpent b/c all I do is putt with it. It's starting to wear in a bit where I can hit the occasional jump-putt so the boredom is slowly subsiding but still.

2nd place: Trespass. It's tie dyed and comes out to avoid losing more important discs. Enough HSS to avoid nasty rough on the flip side (wait, is that where that expression comes from?!) and predictable fade. Ho-hum.

3rd Place: Breaker, too fun as a wooded tunnel go-for.

4th: Banshee, thumbers and FH rollers aplenty put it solidly in the "fun" category.
