I'm saying he's changing sponsors, but keeping his same discs, last year's April fool's wasn't actually a joke, the company is now fully changing to McBeth discs.

Innova: We are parting ways with Paul McBeth, we wish him the best.
Paul McB: I am so grateful for my time with Innova, but I'm moving on.
DiscFifty: Naaaaaaahhhh man.
For real though, what a time to be alive. We'll all be telling our grandchildren who are obviously all pro's about the time Paul McBeth left Innova and lit the world on fire.

Mostly just makes me laugh with all the silly speculation and things people say. Not really worried about who is on what team and such. Just makes for an entertaining time for me
wild prediction:
innova and discraft combine to make one super disc golf company:
DISCINNOVAFT
Should I actually put time into this sport and try for sponsorship?
All of these conspiracy theories are hilarious to me. I'm no marketing expert, but I can't imagine intentionally decieving your customers for short term profit would be a sound stategy.

Are they (Innova) having a sale or pushing any McDiscs?
I don't think so, but that's been a part of the theories I've seen posted elsewhere.
Step one: announce McBeast is leaving
Step two: sell a bunch of discs to folks thinking McBeth stamped discs will become collectors items
Step three: McBeast doesn't actually leave
Step four: ???
Step five: profit

MJ to Innova, MJ to Innova...
Either that or to McDiscs, Paul's new company.
