no sir, the drainage ditches work very well. We had a rain storm about 2 weeks ago, and the day after the back part that use to flood is all dry. It's excellent!
Here in the Coast Guard in St. Pete one of the guys in our shop got us all hooked, and we've gotten our Electronics Detachment involved too. We've even gotten some members throught the enlisted association playing.

Clearwater disc golf. Everything in there revolves around some sort of disc. Also, Sun King Disc in Brooksville. Both stores are entirely dedicated to disc sports.
Keen makes a great shoe. They're on my list too. I tend to drag my foot on the tee pad so the extended rubber on the toe really helps from having the sole fall off. I think I went through 2 pairs of trail shoes before finding and loving my keens.
I tried it out, but the GPS takes forever to update so it doesn't really work that well. A lot of the courses here in St. Pete area have trees so getting a good clear view of the sky could be tough.
www.poifriend.com has all of the disc golf courses in the US already on the site. They have the whole US, or you can do state by state. All you have to do is download the correct file pertaining to the GPS you have, hook your GPS to your computer and install the favorites. Some of the courses...
I use to buy my discs from them. They were wicked cheap, they don't sell used plastic anymore, just that x-out stuff. I'm sure they mark them up high to rip off people that are ignorant to the sport.
