How'd you get the vibrant blue and red on that champion plastic? What type of dye and how long? Looks awesome!

Here's my first brainwave attempt. Used iDye mix with shaving cream. Any tips on how to get better waves? I know Punky Colour works well and have some coming in tomorrow so I will post another try tomorrow.

Yea I've tried that too but the shaving cream just dissolves into the mix

I've finally got my spinner up and working but all I have done I spirals and circles and I want to do more splatter kind of dyes. Right now I'm just using acetone and dye so it's too runny and isn't as vivid as I want. Any suggestions on dye mixtures and such to achieve a thicker and brighter...

just wanted to ask a question. I have wired in a dimmer switch to my box fan and now im too scared to plug it up. I've weird it the same way the pictures on here have shown but I dont want to harm myself or any of the wires in my house. Guess I'm just asking what's the safest way to try this out...

Yea I've seen his dyes on Facebook and they are amazing! I've always done stencil dyes but now I'm experimenting with shaving cream and hopefully spin dyeing as well

Anyone else use rit? I haven't tried using iDye poly yet but the colors look darker than the ones I have done with rit. I guess I'll wait till after I use iDye poly to see if that's the cause which I think it is.

So that leads me to another question, how long do you leave the acetone/dye mix on the disc after spinning? I've only ever done the heat and liquid dye technique with a vinyl stencil
