It works well as an overhand disc and after a round the other day I was throwing all of my drivers and launched it about 375 in a dead straight line across the field and kept wondering why I don't throw it more often.
I have a Star Gator and it is definitely my go to mid on windy days or when I need something I know won't flip. Even after not throwing it for weeks at a time I can always put it were I want it. Definitely not a distance mid though, this thing has no glide and usually digs into the ground nicely...
I have a 175 Xcaliber that's beat in to it's perfect flight stage, and the other day I bought a 170 Force and I swear they are the same disc. Very slight high speed turn in the beginning of it's flight sometimes but it straightens out very quick and flys far then fades hard left. I've don't...
I don't have an SS to compare to but it is definitely arc'ed, it looks similar to my Teebird's wing. And when I mentioned that the disc was domey, I mean D-O-M-E-Y, like the domiest disc I have ever seen. Would this account for all of its lack of stability?
It's not an SS unless it's a misprint disc, which I am starting to think it is. If I were to look at the wing would there be a significant difference from it and the SS to compare?
I was looking for a new disc to take over my long fairly stable slot and was debating between an Avenger and Starfire. I took a trip down to the disc store and they didn't have a starfire so I picked up a 174 Z Avenger. When I first threw it I was hoping it would go pretty straight and then have...
Crush's are a great overstable disc when new, but when they get beat in they make perfect max d s turn discs, kind of like an Orc or something. Love them when they are new, when they get beat in I already have enough of those understable discs.
150 Teebird, bought one earlier today and it's my new favorite disc by far. Today had a about a 340ft drive with it, tilted it about 30 degrees hyzer and ripped it hard about 25 feet off the ground it flew slightly right until it hit about 300 or so and started fading back.
A Teebird should work pretty good unless you are in a really strong headwind, just give it a little hyzer and watch it sail. In those big headwinds I usually use my 175 Firebird.
Today playing doubles with my friend we shot a combined 5 under and I got my first ace. By myself I've shot as low as 1 under on my home course so that would be my best individually.
