Wild Wild West
Nice short wooded course adjacent to Meeman-Shelby State Park - East. The course is great for both beginners and more advanced players.
-You don't need a bag full of discs to shoot well and most players can get by using only a mid-range and a putter.
-Compared to the East course...

The Beast
This course is great for both beginners and more advanced players.
-You don't need a bag full of discs to shoot well and most players can get by using only a mid-range and a putter
-Unlike some wooded courses the fairways are well defined and don't have an abundance of trees...

Not great, not horrible
Open course on moderately flat terrain. If you're the player who likes "grip & rip" courses then this is for you. On most holes there are hardly any trees or other obstacles between the tees and the baskets. Considering the very open layout the holes are not too long...

Nice short wooded course
Nice short 18 hole course on an neat landscape. Beautiful rock formations and sink holes bordered by a mix of cedar and old oak forest. Most of the fairways are well defined unlike some comparable technical/wooded courses. Has a nice mix of pin placements that require a...
I second the Yeti Pro. I like a putter with a firm rim and the disc feels very comfortable in my hand.
You might but want to go to your local shop and hold the Yeti Pro, KC Pro, and JK Pro...just see which one feels more comfortable for you and give it a shot.
I also sometimes have trouble keeping my balance using the straddle putt (as in having to step forward). Overall I like how it helps me get into more of a rhythm by swinging my arm
I agree with most of the replies so far. Get a Teebird, TL, etc...nice stable fairway driver and learn how to throw it well. Don't try to throw too many different discs too soon. The problem here is you won't have an established reference point to make corrections. Once you have mastered one...
