Judging was harder than I thought it was going to be. There are so many good ones, it's ridiculous. I just submitted mine a few minutes ago.
I am a little pissed I didn't get offered one bribe, but I guess I'll get over it. ;)
I don't think it can be understated how great these are! Great job to everyone involved.
And a BIG thank you to Bennett for setting this up! Well Done!
I'm so glad someone took the contest on this year! I'm pretty jealous that bennet gets to see all the entries (that was my favorite thing last year).
for the same reasons I haven't been on the site/discing/dyeing the past 9 months, (working full time, MBA, new baby), I won't be submitting an...

I made vector files for all of the birds, but then the computer my plotter is setup on when to **** and I haven't had time to get it hooked up again. I plan on putting the yellow bird on my yellow Gold Line Core, and the black bird on a white Buzzz. those are the two best birds, anyway...
the guys that I talked to were disc golfers. If you buy one of thier plotters, call them and they'll setup everything for you. Those things are impossible to setup by yourself.
it does leave more of a residue than anything else, but I haven't had any bleeds with it, which is the most important thing for me. Plus it's cheap and I don't have to waste my good vinyl on 2nd/3rd colors.
What do you mean that the bubbles are unworkable? Just that you have a hard time...
I disagree. Clear contact paper is cheap and works really well when I have to reaply for multiple colors. I've never had an issue with contact paper.
The free 3M vinyl, on the other hand, is horrible.
I won't use the 3M vinyl I got because I couldn't get it to stop streaking. It anyone wants mine, PM me and I'll send you what I have for the cost of shipping.
Since I'm one of the cool kids, I think it's a really good idea. :hfive:
All joking aside, hopfully having a place to find experienced dyers will lead to less people starting threads looking for someone to do a dye, especially since Apoth won't let in people that don't belong.
