2018 PDGA World Championships

Why not both? I know neither of them played at Masters Worlds this year, but there's nothing stopping them from doing both if they want to. Perhaps their experience here this week will bring them back for Masters Worlds next year.

Good point. I just figured they'd pick one or the other.

Anthon is bogey free on this course. . If the others start making mistakes Anthon will win.

Greg has the most consistent low score on the course. . .if he holds on to that he will win.

Conrad going to attack hard. .Paul McBeth even harder

MPO is too tough to call. There are 4-5 guys who legit have a chance. It's gonna be a nail biter.

So little Paige is awesome. She seems like she doesn't have the raw tools of PP quite yet, but watching her on the live all weekend, it seems like her consistency throughout her game (especially in the short game) is by far better (at this moment.) Congrats Bjerkaas.

I know with the names and both being DD players, the comparisons to Pierce are natural, but she reminds me a lot more of Val Jenkins in terms of her style of play. It's not about raw skills, it's about putting the skills she has to their best use with smart steady play. She never seems like she's trying to bite off more than she can chew and Val is very much the same.

Why is there such a gap in the start times from the 3rd to 2nd card, and from the 2nd to lead? Does it help with flow?

Yup. They do a similar thing for DGPT. After the first live round there were a lot of backups so they pushed the times back for yesterday and today.

Congrats Paige B... Her mom going ape**** was so awesome, lol.

Did you notice her Mom was wearing a Cincy Reds jacket?

MvBeth needs that -18 today. . .

With 30min delay leadcard will have a good read on how alla the chasecards are doing

PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships 2018 FPO Performance Tracks

Note that it wasn't until hole 8 of round 4 that Paige Bjerkaas could expect to finish out with as low a score as Paige Pierce and Sarah Hokum. See the convergence of all three tracks at hole 62.

Paige Bjerkaas's lead at that point was 10 throws over Paige Pierce and 7 over Sarah Hokum. However, with their higher ratings Paige Pierce and Sarah Hokum would be expected to overcome those deficits if all three players played at their rating from that point out.

While Paige Pierce played pretty much as expected from that point, Paige Bjerkaas played above her rating so the lead only shrank to 6, while Sarah Hokum played below her rating to end up 13 behind.

Very intresting start, Mcbeth got the start he needed. . .Anthon seems to have the nerves for this

Halcon mentioned Anthon being a runner up from 2009-2011, dude knows how to play on this stage.

The downside of the 30-minute difference in tee times is that it will make it tougher for Smashboxx to get a live camera on the chase card if someone pushes themselves into the lead.

Their ability to do that at Idlewild when McBeth won from the second card made that a great show.

Edit to add: as I typed, McBeth moved himself to -35 and at least temporarily a share of the lead.
