You got me. My argument completely falls apart when you compare it to the similar small but growing sport of football in the United States. I wonder how that will effect all those folks out there that were considering checking out the NFL. Sucks for that small following of fans.

Ok I'm back and I've checked up on what happens when other sports get trashtalked on sports radio. It turns out nothing happened. Probably because sports radio is dumb and has no bearing on anything.

Yeah you are right, sports fans are so kind and levelheaded; just ask those friendly hockey fans in Vancouver. :roll:

I'm not saying it will end the world if someone talks shit, I'm saying that there will be some result and it's not likely positive. Maybe that person just never picks up a disc; not gonna break my heart. But maybe they could have been the next top pro, or the mayor of some small town who needs to look at a new course proposal. Big or small it still sucks a little bit in the end.
