Disc golf is full of colorful nicknames. Its a beautiful quality. Jim Markov long ago dubbed me Fluke. I chose to punctuate it as I do so that pronounced either way its an epithet one can use after I beat them on the course.
Jim's brother was Pygmy Man, others were: Joe Who? Or Just Joe(god only knows if he was a "joe" at all) Stretch, Mad Dog, Nature Boy, Bird, P-nut, Badams, Mooky, Cuban, Special, Claw... If I keep reminiscing I could continue.
