Just showed up on the approved disc list. No pic up yet. H= Hybrid. From what i heard a while back they were going to release some tweener drivers next, either a PD or wraith speed/type disc.

Looks like speed 9, fairly blunt rim, wonder if they can make some fwy's their players like?

I see "tremendous predictability" is the new "reliable in all conditions".

As for filling the gap between the F1 and X1, I would have expected a large rim width. The H1 is listed at 1.9 cm, only .1 greater than the F series. Something in the 2.0-2.1 would make a little more sense. Unless of course the sole purpose is to create a Firebird clone.

Easy Release Technology , Tremendous Predictability, Reliable in all Conditions, D,F,M,P,X,H ...... mind Freaking BLOWN!!!!

How long can prodigy remain relevant?
Do people still care about them? I rarely see them on the course aside from the few fan boys.

And I throw the D series!

All I ever see is the random D1 or D4 that someone has usually given them. Generally not a very good player throwing forehands...

"The Prodigy H1 will be considered a "Hybrid" disc that will fill the gap between the F1 and the X1. The H1 will have tremendous predictability in high wind play. The H1 will be a fast favorite of the side arm player as well as the overhand. This is the disc you have been waiting for..." - by Prodigy Disc

I really really like their putters and base 300 plastic. It's grippy without being sticky and grabs the chains great.

As long as they continue to put out good molds they will continue to grow.

Lots of people throwing them up here in mn. Helps that geisinger took the majestic too, good exposure.

Cale probably has a good impact on that too with his store and being a Prodigy guy. I like their plastic a lot specially the premium blends.

Prodigy is fun to hate on because they hyped it up so much to begin with. I am guilty of adding to the fire once in a while.

I was bored this winter and most of the Prodigy line up to give the discs a shot and see what they're all about. I really like the 300/350 PA1, 400G M4, 300 M3, 400 F3, and the 400 F5. Very solid discs. None of them made it into my permanent bag but I do stick them into my "fun" bag once in a while just to throw them.

The company makes solid discs. The marketing approach is different. They dialed it back quite a bit now so they're not doing anything different from others, but first impressions have already been made.

Pretty non existant here in WI. You will see one or two here or there but other than that there is nothing. But the premium plastics are good, and the baselines are absolutely horrible. Too soft, and too grippy.
