The reason it loses glide is that the dome is concave. Think Wolf, Rhyno, Berg, Ringer GT, any disc with a concave top essentially. Glide is created from time difference between the air that separates from the lower edge of the disc and the top. A larger dome is going to make that time difference longer. So to create lift, lower air pressure is created on top of the disc and higher air pressure is on the bottom. So-

Domey = higher glide (could also be more OS though and may not seem as glide to the eye)
Flat top = medium to low glide
Concave top = lowest glide
