[Prodigy] Prodigy H1

Prodigy definitely needs some speed 9-10 discs. Color me interested.

Ricky would have won the world championship if he had this disc during the tournament.

Theres a handful throwing prodigy down here in florida. There were also definitely a good amount throwing it in Michigan where im from.

The plastic is great.. 400s and 400g.. very durable and grippy. They have alot of good molds, my bag is essentially half prodigy and half innova (F7, and D3 not listed in my sig) The 300s plastic is good for putting.. not sure id want to use any of their discs in 300 for driving though.

Arent they still working on a 500s? kc pro sort of plastic?

Haha, Ricky would have won Worlds if he hadn't thrown out of bounds twice in a row on hole 13 during the final 9. Of course he turned around and make a 70 foot eagle putt on hole 14 to tie it back up, but I really thought he had it in the bag until those 2 out of bounds drives. Man I wanted him to win it too. It was great to be there spectating though.

Sorry, that was a bit off topic. So H1 will be a Firebird clone probably. I hope they can make them consistently nice and flat, but probably they will vary just like all the other disc companies.

I see a lot of them in GA, but not so many as I travel. Did see a few in WI and MI, mostly the putters or D4/D5's. The younger crowd seems to like them a lot(almost all Prodigy throwers I see are 12-18) and the old guys are sticking to their guns, as old guys will.

A lot of the emerging brands are starting to get more bag share, I've seen a ton of Vibram, MVP and even some Salient getting tossed around a bit lately.

Well this out to make the Prodigy players happy.

I rarely see anything other than a Prodigy disc or two in people's bags around here, but having said that I do see a lot of people with one or two in the bag. Just very rare to see anyone with a lot of Prodigy.

Though a few weeks ago at the Denver Classic, the kid who took second in my division threw exclusively Prodigy. Kid can rip for sure.

Easy Release Technology , Tremendous Predictability, Reliable in all Conditions, D,F,M,P,X,H ...... mind Freaking BLOWN!!!!

yeah, it says nothing about whether or not the disc will allow us to: "soar with the gods"...

Got to fondle Ulibarri's 500 series F2 (I believe) this past weekend.... it feels like it would beat into a nice KC pro feeling plastic.

As for the H1.... I hope it is something more like a flick.. overstable with zero glide.

Recieved my glow thunderbird. I think it's more than 175g. It feels way heavy. I'll get out to the field, post n let my thoughts be known

as for a flick.. have you tried the X1?

I bag an x1.... it is quite a bit more overstable than my flick.... which is fine and works for a monster skip disc and roller. Maybe in 5 years when that plastic beats in it will throw like a flick.

I don't need an H1...I have a CFR glo Firebird 175g....it looks so damn similar anyway....BUT, i want to see the H3-H7. I hope they are similar to the Innova Speed 9 drivers, or even speed 10 stuff....but really...I'm so happy with my bag right now...it'll take a lot for it to change. But still I welcome it

It's about dang time Prodigy. I have a champ firebird now but will replace it with a 750g H1 if you hurry. The same goes for a gator clone. Go go.

geisenger was throwing a **** fit about these. says they're like the FAF FB's and he maxed it out at like 390' on a full anny rip. seemed quite happy; i guess they're pretty awesomely overstable.

I wonder how these will impact Schusterick's game. We all know he won the Memorial in 2013 with a Firebird and it seems like he's been struggling since then...

Shusterick said the H1 is already his favorite disc during the Q&A he did on reddit today.

I love my firebirds but finding FAF ones is getting more difficult and expensive.
for that reason alone I will be giving these a try. Love the 750 series plastic too.
