What brands do you dislike or hate for whatever reason?

And don't be that lame person who says I don't dislike any disc company. :D
And Salient doesn't count since they are around anymore. :D

I don't throw anything from Trilogy because their discs aren't US manufactured. Just a personal preference. Wouldn't say I hate/dislike those brands. As much as I really like my Prodigy putters (Pa1/Pa4) I didn't like they way they introduced themselves as a new company. Reminded me of an Apple campaign of we're holier than thou just because. With that said I still like Prodigy.

Do you really want to do this? :|

In my previous experience with Trilogy discs, I disliked that the flight ratings often times didn't match up with actual flight.

Small beans though as all big manufacturers deal with that issue.

Just kind of funny when you throw a King for the first time.

I'm not an Innova fan. It's mostly about the mind-numbing amount of molds and (lMO) inconsistency.

I'm not a prodigy fan because of how the plastic was first released and the general approach of their team. Kinda spoiled it for me before I could try it.

So I won't throw plastic or buy products from those companies. I'm on the fence with gateway because you can't find 2 wizards that are the same but it's just so great of a mold.

Also, certain people on this forum seem to try really hard to help me hate MVP.

Things that have kept me from bagging some companies or specific discs:

- When companies list their base plastic at premium plastic prices.
- Not carrying a specific mold in both premium and base plastic
- Molds that typically have a lot of dome

Can't deal with overmolds, so Axiom/MVP. Also, the "easy release" rim in Prodigy stuff slips out of my hand. Other than that, I throw a bit of everything and like most of it.

Voted Trilogy, Brodigy, and RDG.

RDG simply because of the fanboi business model, I have never thrown a disc :p

Meh, I dont dislike any brands that havent already gone out of business. Theres a lot of specific molds I dislike and certainly some brands that have undeserved hype, but all the ones currently in business at least deserve to be there.

I really don't dislike any disc company. One company that I'm struggling with right now is Vibram. I like their plastic/rubber, almost indestructible. So far, I just haven't found a disc of theirs that I can throw. So far I have a summit and a sole, the one I plan to try in the future is an ibex. I don't give up easily.

I really don't understand the Trilogy hate. They make many a fine disc.

Because they don't fly like Innova/Discraft and they don't have an easy answer to every shot in the bag. Either you jive with them or don't, and many don't.

I also personally dislike their plastic blends.

If you throw Dynamic, you can support an American company even if they are a part of Trilogy.

Personally it is solely cause of the fanboyism especially locally as why I don't like them.

I did try out a bunch of their discs (Warship, Bard, Shield, Harp, Swan, Underworld, XXX, Jade, River, Escape, Mace, Warden) but none stuck. Also they don't seem as well set up for cycling as other companies.

I think these results might be surprising, and certainly will be interesting.

For myself, I don't really hate any brand, but I put Vibram because I don't like the material of their discs, so sorry.

I also think that Gateway's total inconsistency in their plastics is a negative, not a positive.

Personally, I am shocked that Axiom is #2 right now. They may not have the biggest array of discs, but I love the feel of their plastic.

MVP/Axiom is a real love-hate relationship here on DGCR. One either loves them or hates them. And some of the hate vote may be backlash, too...
