Mine...
Discraft marauder, because i went to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. The marauder was our mascot. This was back in 99'. I think it was orange.
I also bought a Rattler cause i needed a putter (according to Mr. Brown) and i loved snakes. I'm positive that was orange.
After i threw my first round, i headed back into the pro shop and bought an orange python. I still have that one.

Aviar. I bought a ton of ton of discs shortly afterward, including a River, which was th first disc with which I got any real distance. Not using an Aviar now for a long time. I bag a Judge, Nova, and Envy and probably will forever.

Too bad that Marauder wasn't maroon. I used a friend's super beat up DX Wraith. No more stamp on it, and it had the name Rosie on the back. Probably a pond disc, but there was no way to get it back to Rosie if we wanted to. I didn't know any better at the time, so that's the only disc I used for everything. Somehow it survived quite a few rounds at Como before it went back into the waters it probably came from. Then I ordered an Innova starter set and quickly moved on to a buzzz from there.

A yellow DX leopard.

I ended up losing it, and someone on my card found it *this year* while we were playing. It's like I ran into an old friend. I'll never throw it again but it was nice to have back!

Could have been a classic roc, grid aviar, or XL. I don't really remember back to 2003ish but those were the three I had. Also bought a pro wraith and discwing quarter k, before taking a long break from the game.

Dx Viper that I found on a gravel road, 4 days after my wife's uncle took me discing for the first time.
No course anywhere around. Took it as a sign...

A freind of mine gave me three discs, Aviar, Roc and... a Groove.

It's unfortunate to admit but I still had that Groove ITB in my first tournament.

white Dx Stingray and then within a day or two, a Dx Polecat and Dx Archangel

Stingrays are really good for new players. Most people would be better off throwing them fooff their first 3-12 months playing.

My initial purchase consisted of the following 4 discs. No clue what the weights were, because I didn't realize weights varied.

DX Birdie - org ... think I sold or traded it
Omega SS - blk ... left it in a basket at Holly Woods
DX Cheetah - yel ... lost, can't remember where. My son and I called this the "Tree Magnet." Good lord, that disc got abused.
DX Eagle - light blue ... lost at Cass Benton - RHBH all I got were n00b hyzers. I primarily threw this forehand when I needed to go right, or BH when I needed to go left.

DX Shark circa 2002. My dad took my brother and me to a local sporting goods store to pick ones out and we naturally went with the ones we thought looked the coolest.
