Harr when you look at your map..you need to start looking to the Right......PA,Md, DE, NY, NE all have much to offer and I'm curious what you might think as you have some Midwest and Southern Knowledge.

I know they have a lot to offer but being a landscaper I cannot get away very far during April through December. My route may be destined to be between Florida and Wisconsin . . at least for a few years while we grow our company. Then maybe a long weekend in summer will be possible sometime down the road, but for now it is reserved for my drive to Florida. You have no idea how much it hurts me to have to miss some really great areas because they are under snow. Courses just dont impress as much when you play like crap because of deep snow. I want to hit courses while they are in good shape and I can play well. For January-February the only places I can find that is south and east (at least within my driving ability). If I wanted to head west I would need to fly somewhere and rent a car, now that is defeating part of what I love os much about this sport (how it is so cheap to play the game).

Remember that the lists posted on this thread are a blend of favorite and top courses, at least for some of us. I just liked Knob better but am willing to be blown away with improvements at Moraine since my visit in 2005. Looks like cement tees at Knob but not at Moraine yet?

My top ten in no particular order

1. Sugar Bottom, North Liberty, Iowa
2. Turkey Creek, North Libery, Iowa
3. Pennisula, Iowa City, Iowa
4. Wildcat Bluff, Urbana, Iowa
5. Lestor Lorch Park, (both courses) Cedar Hill, Texas
6. Veterans Park, Arlington, Texas
7. Z Boaz, Forth Worth, Texas
8. Towne Lake, McKinney, Texas
9. Thorpe Park, Flagstaff, Arizona
10 McPherson Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

These are my favorites of the courses I have played so far. So many more courses that I need to play that these could certainly change over time.

Could you possibly rank them in order? That is what I want to know not just what your top 10 courses are. I want to know what is 1, and what is 10 and everything in between.

I haven't played Big Bro yet, and last played classic in 2002 I think, and it was a downpour, and I sucked (in general not just the round), and it was getting dark.

I haven't played a ton of courses, but here's mine:

1. Maple Hill, Leicester, MA
2. Mile McIver, OR
3. Pier Park, Portland, OR
4. Devens, MA
5. Borderland, Easton, MA
6. Treasure Cove, Council Bluffs, IA
7. Pyramids, Leicester, MA
8. Sunnyside, Atlantic, IA
9. Ewing Park, Des Moines, IA

Courses I have played: 21 (not many courses, but I feel lucky to have played many excellent courses and many courses that are in other peoples lists)

FlyPads were installed at Moraine. That is all the park would allow. They liked the idea of recycled rubber. Damn Hippies!! lol

They are nice, but I do wish they would have allowed concrete.

Park has been trimmed up very much since you were last here. If I like the Steady Ed course, and I can't see how you wouldn't like Moraine. Hope to see you in these parts soon, we'll have to make sure the pins are in the tournament location when you are here.
