Couple of things that can help your winter golf.
1.) Don't wear all of your layers in the car on the way to the course. You'll sweat out before you even get started.
2.) Don't over do the layering. You should be a little cool when you start. Walking through snow with extra clothing is...
If you wanted to do a table out of mini's or broken discs the Super Gloss clear coat out of the IASCO catalogue is the way to go.

It's on page 56
Ahh. I had heard rumors of flipping 6. Personally I'm all for it as I think it would help the flow. It would also be a cool hole if they plan to put the pad where they've cleared out some of the underbrush behind the existing pin. I like the hole as it stands but flow would be better reversed...
This guy has come up before:

I have yet to run into him (or more accurately have him run past me), but I really only play Acorn in the winter.
I'm all for P2P. Like Aim For The Chains above, the majority of my rounds are at P2P courses. It's well worth the nominal fee's attached. Buying an East and West side pass will run you 75$ which in the end is nothing. I pay 115$ a year for a Minnesota and Wisconsin fishing licenses alone and...
If you're not dragging your feet you can get through it in less than 3hrs. But even so you'd be cutting it close. Say 15-30 min to get out of MSP. It's around 1.5hrs driving from MSP to BRP to Target Field, around 3hrs at the course. And that's all counting on your plane being on time, short...
^Exactly^ equipment standards. Aluminum bats are banned in MLB for safety reasons.
A somewhat better analogy would be the confusion that might arise from LL, College, and MLB using different formulas to calculate ERA.
Par is arbitrary. It's calculated however we wish. Par is also already defined as what a scratch player is expected to shoot on any given day.
With that answers in red:
Most holes in the ground are Par 2's. The issue is getting people to accept this.
To the OP, why would this make it any easier to convince people that Par and keeping score are different things? This seems to be the biggest issue when debating par at this point.
