Being able to play whenever I want, for free. I live in one of the sunniest places in America. I can probably count on one hand the number of days in the last year when the weather was bad enough to keep me off the course. No green fees, no tee-times, no dress code.

I started playing ball golf when I was 11. I heard more swearing on the golf course in one round than in an entire year on the school playground. I played for almost 20 years and I never once heard anyone ever warned for using foul language.

Everyone of the local courses around here are public and in city/county parks. I'm not sure I need to make a change in my attitude because of a small/localized problem.

This is so wide-spread that we need to 'adopt a different attitude'? I don't think I've ever seen glass on a tee pad at any of out local courses.
