I have lived in memphis (An hour and half north of tupelo) for six years and finally made it to tupelo this year. I've got to say it is an enchanting town and I second what was said above. However, it may lose points in a comparison with cities that are further south because of sporadic cold spells.
OAT
I agree that throwing long straight mid-range shots is about eliminating OAT. If the top pros can throw a Buzzz or a Roc straight for 400 ft without turning it over then you don't need a more overstable mid to do the same. Bottom line on eliminating OAT (which you can see as a wobble on...
For any course that is new to me, visibility is the most important trait for a basket. So I would prefer Innova baskets on a new course. For a home course I would prefer Mach Vs because they seem to catch best in my experience. My ideal basket would be a Mach V with a bright flag on top which...
I had a magical, pink ESP Buzzz that aced the very first time I threw it. A couple days later it ricocheted into a nasty, deep, bog-like pond where I left it. Occasionally I stop at the edge of the pond and pay my respects.
another option
Great looking design. Another option is to laser print the signs on waterproof paper which is more like plastic than paper, it's durable stuff, but probably more expensive than laminated paper. Here it is on amazon...

unique signs and tees
Cool looking Faux stone tee signs
tees have been painted green-nice touch
nice course map in the parking lot helping you navigate
the designers have tried to maximize the use of foliage which is difficult since most the trees are bordering large grass ball fields.
The water...
700'
Outside of distance competitions with tail winds, i don't think anyone throws over 700 feet. And I bet that shots over 600' (on flat ground)rarely happen on actual disc golf courses.
I have to speak up about a recent selah review. Good review except for the complaint in the cons that the pars from the red tees were to easy and should be lowered. The reviewer complained that they got a 9 under from the red tees so this was evidence that the pars should be lowered. I have...
Time
One major difference between the two sports (excuse me if this was already discussed, I didn't scour the entire thread) is the amount of time to play around of 18. I don't play much golf but I think that 18 holes takes 3-4 hours. If I'm in a hurry I can play 18 holes of disc golf in one...

Adventure golf
Nice signs with photos
Nice baskets
Dual tees
Too many blind baskets for my taste
A lot of scrambling around on a loose scree hillside to get to the last basket
Overlapping fairways
Half the course is set around a municipal junk yard. It's ugly.
Good effort put into this...

post apocalyptic gem
This course plays through a narrow wooded crescent on a hillside overlooking the park.
My high rating of 3.5 is solely on the virtue of the hole design, which mostly consists of long tightly wooded fairways with interesting elevation and good variety. Kudos to whoever...

so good, but so crowded
Beautiful park with grass, woods, hills, a creek (more of a river by Utah standards) with crystal clear water that makes it easy to spot discs
the design of the individual holes is great. lots of variety and character. super fun that some of the baskets are perched just...
