Review by tom04 in course Blue Ribbon Pines - Main

5.00 star(s) Great Maintenance Blue Ribbon Pines is the best maintained course I have played at. The holes are very well designed where the birdies are earned. There is a wide variety of distances, wooded/open, and even elevation-which isn't noticed, but is definitely there. There are true par 4s along with...

Review by tom04 in course Bassett Creek Park

3.00 star(s) fun course, but could expand Bassett Creek is in a nice neighborhood with a large pond in the middle of the park. There is great spacing between the holes. The course is well kept with the grass being pretty short. Leagues are run here every Monday night during the Summer-just one round...

Review by tom04 in course SW Minnesota State University DGC

1.50 star(s) Doesn't have much variety There are baskets there so you can practice putting and learning your short game can help, there is access to the University absolutely no variety, very easy course, every shot is a simple hyzer, and 18 downs are doable. If you go here the course is a plus, but other...

Review by tom04 in course Sunnyside Park

3.00 star(s) fun course not a whole ton of trees, starts out with a blind shot, easy access to get to, not too frustrating, 30 min./round, many ace opportunities, good course to see your improvement, practice pin water, lack of space, road, a bit crowded at nights fun course if you live close by

    Snow Throwin'

I try going disc golfing everyday in the winter here in minnesota when it is around 15 degrees+ The way to not lose a disc, is to have a spotter up ahead of you to see where the disc slices in the snow. The other day I had a forehand shot and it skipped right off the ice that was on grass that...

    Cold weather / Winter discs

i think it is the type of throw that makes the difference playing the winter. I primarily throw backhand, but i discovered that forehand works better in the winter. you don't need to do all the footwork in the snow and ice.
