McBeast 's quote, inspiring or cocky

If you've ever been good at a sport and want to get better you HAVE to be a bit cocky. It's that simple. I felt like I was the best basketball player in my district in high school and it made me a better player. I worked hard but I also had the mentality that I was just going to be you because I...

Controversy engulfs new course in Douglas county Georgia

That is always a problem with multiuse trails although it can be fixed by proper trail design (I used to help build trails here) but even in the event that they wear bells, the bikes are loud enough to hear. Seems like there is a lot of misunderstanding going on about what is actually going...

    [Putters] Baseline VS Grippy Premium

Only company that has this down pat is Vibram. The firm, especially older firm, is grippy during summer and then you have soft to use during winter. We have the worst of both with regards to temps. During the summer we will see above 90 and during winter I still play when it gets into the...

backpack capable of holding xxl hoodie

Have you tried a lighter material that is just as warm? I wear a 2X as well and I've just got some stuff that is lightweight but warm instead of wearing my normal hoodie because I tend to get warm like 6-8 holes in. Annoying but not near as annoying as trying to stuff my hoodie into my bag.

    Pre round warmups & stretches

That is the reason. When you don't use the specific muscle combinations used to throw except to throw once a week they will continually be sore after each overuse. Try to mix in a field day during the week and see how that helps. And yes, dynamic warm up is where it is at. Do not do cold...

[Vibram] Vibram Disc Golf Thread (Part II)

Onyx should be even better for the shorter throwers. Try the Valley in Firm if you want it a tad more understable as well.

If you are getting the UnLace out to 300 feet than get a Vamp in the lower 160s. It'll fly more like its supposed to for you.

    [Innova] Innova Wombat

I've really grown to dislike G*. It makes what are good discs just floppy unpredictable circle things. I tried Beast, Roc3, Mako3 and a few others and I just don't like them. At all. I've got two champ Wombats and they are nothing like the G*. Very good throwers that seem to hang in the air...

    2016 Vibram Birdie Bash

I can see that honestly. I think that providing a lunch will certainly help as well so I guess take that into the costs. Have 30 players and a kickback of $5 a player makes a decent lunch if you have some local place cut you a deal.

    2016 Vibram Birdie Bash

My last C-Tier event was $55 before the ace pool and CTP. BEFORE! That included one premium disc and one basic disc. The t-shirt was nice and it included a pulled pork lunch. No one, yes, no one complained about that price because of what you get. Two vibram discs, a nice shirt and some swag...

    2016 Vibram Birdie Bash

I can understand that but at least Vibram gives the most choice in an event like this. All the other ones are just as limited if not even worse. I mean, how bad have the last few years Ace Race discs have been. They want to get the new discs into hands of new people. That is not an...

    2016 Vibram Birdie Bash

I fail to see what the big issue is here. How many local clubs have insurance set up? How many of the Birdie Bashes will be at parks that require you to have insurance to run an organized event. Being PDGA sanctioned allows the event to use the PDGA insurance. What is the big deal here?

[Vibram] Vibram Disc Golf Thread (Part II)

I've played twice with glow now with the new ones. They aren't any harder to find at all. I just put a smiley face on the flight plate and use that for 3 holes and then recharge it. It is not an issue with the new discs.

They are marked weight and then have a M. In the past they were marked with the weight and XLG.
