Have you tried a lighter material that is just as warm? I wear a 2X as well and I've just got some stuff that is lightweight but warm instead of wearing my normal hoodie because I tend to get warm like 6-8 holes in. Annoying but not near as annoying as trying to stuff my hoodie into my bag.
That is the reason. When you don't use the specific muscle combinations used to throw except to throw once a week they will continually be sore after each overuse. Try to mix in a field day during the week and see how that helps.

I've really grown to dislike G*. It makes what are good discs just floppy unpredictable circle things. I tried Beast, Roc3, Mako3 and a few others and I just don't like them. At all.

I think that providing a lunch will certainly help as well so I guess take that into the costs. Have 30 players and a kickback of $5 a player makes a decent lunch if you have some local place cut you a deal.
My last C-Tier event was $55 before the ace pool and CTP. BEFORE! That included one premium disc and one basic disc. The t-shirt was nice and it included a pulled pork lunch. No one, yes, no one complained about that price because of what you get.

I can understand that but at least Vibram gives the most choice in an event like this. All the other ones are just as limited if not even worse. I mean, how bad have the last few years Ace Race discs have been. :thmbdown:

I fail to see what the big issue is here. How many local clubs have insurance set up? How many of the Birdie Bashes will be at parks that require you to have insurance to run an organized event. Being PDGA sanctioned allows the event to use the PDGA insurance.

I've played twice with glow now with the new ones. They aren't any harder to find at all. I just put a smiley face on the flight plate and use that for 3 holes and then recharge it. It is not an issue with the new discs.
