Rolling up the wins over the years is part of the equation, the class and grace you display while doing it also counts for something.
I was at the Otter Open.

Say whatever you like, but there was not near the competition in the 90s as there is today. KC was so ahead of the game when he was winning, and I'm sure even he realizes there's no way he could've done that with the current top players around. I give him credit for being able to use those crappy discs they had back then and do so well, but he was lucky enough to be the best before the rest of the pack caught up to him. When's the last time he dominated a tournament?

I bet you think Richard Petty, Ty Cobb, Wilt Chamberlain, Pele and Bobby Jones had no competition too.
When you say the statement "so ahead of the game when he was winning" and then use that as a reason to say he isn't the best ever, I'm going to have to disagree with you. He was so ahead of everybody else because he was just that good, not because the other players weren't. The same goes with Tiger, when he was crushing people it wasn't because there were no other good pro golfers, it was because Tiger was just that much better. When a guy makes the best in the world look not on his level, he's probably one of the best to ever play.
I miss that Tiger. Could be down by 10 on Sunday and he would still have a shot. Still hoping for that comeback though .
And through my searching I found out some of what happened at the Otter open. And yes, it did confirm my assumption.

I'm assuming this is what the fella was talking about it was all I could find in my 2 page google search .
"Dave was being a jacka** to both Nikko and Will last weekend. He was telling them during the round that he was going to kick them out of his RV, and that they need to find another ride to Vegas. It made a very bad impression."
"On the other hand, I've had an opportunity to see Will Schusterick show excellent character and sportsmanship. He did his best to stay positive, and tried not to get razzed by the drama. He went out of his way to apologize to Jere Eshelman, the 4th guy on their card last Sunday (Jere is the 2011 NorCal Champion, a soft-spoken hippie from Grass Valley, and a phenomenal putter). Will lost by one stroke, I think everybody was pulling for him by the end of the 2nd round."
