    Midrange discs that are underrated.

I couldn't live without my Meteor... not a disc to throw at full power unless you give it a lot of hyzer (and even then it'll finish a little right), but at 50%-75% power a great anny approach disc. Complements my Roc, which is the only Innova disc I throw.

    Winter Weather Clothing

I'll second the suggestion for the Marmot DriClime Jacket. It's not bulky, breaks the wind, has a lightweight fleece liner, will stop a light rain for awhile (it's not totally waterproof). Just layer some fleece under it for colder weather, or wear it with just a tee shirt for fall/spring...

    Elbow pain

Thanks guys. For a sport without any contact, I've sure been hurting myself a lot. I've taken a couple of days off. Been icing it a couple of times a day. Feels a lot better today. I'm going to try and keep my elbow closer in to my body, and work on a better follow through. Does anyone...

    Elbow pain

A friend suggested I alter my forehand grip so that the disc is resting at almost a 90 degree angle to the rest of my hand. After trying it for a round, I had to agree that it added at least 30-40 ft to my sidearm drives. That night I felt some pain on the inside of my elbow. It doesn't hurt...

    NY Courses

You got it right... Thanks for the input guys. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, about four miles from Prospect Park, so I will definitely be checking that out.

    NY Courses

Hey all, I'm a long-time lurker, and first-time poster. I'm originally from New York, but have been living in Portland for the last five years. I picked up my disc golf addiction in the Pacific Northwest (I know, pretty lucky) and have never played a NY course. Whenever I head to NYC to visit...

State with the most active Disc Golfers?

I would think that Portland specifically, and Oregon in general, would be pretty high up on this list... I can think of 10 courses within a half hour of my house that get a LOT of use

    Gorilla Boy Disc Sports

Have used my newly acquired Squirrel Monkey for several rounds now, and I must say, I couldn't be more pleased. Great bag, that looks like it's gonna hold up well, in a size that fits my game to a tee. Thanks Chris... I'm really glad I went Gorilla Boy instead of Revo.

    Surge SS

I just picked up one of these, and I've really been loving it. It doesn't seem a whole lot different from my ESP Surges... my 168g appears to be a little less LSS, but a little more HSS. My FLX Surges always seemed a little shorter than the ESP, but I haven't noticed that to be the case with...

Disc Golf in the Virgin Islands?

Hey, I'm heading down to St. Johns in a couple of weeks, and I've been looking for a course in the Virgin Islands. I haven't found anything at all, and I'm thinking that real estate is probably too expensive down there for disc golf - but I thought I'd run it by the forum and see if anyone has...

What's really so bad about OAT's?

Oh... sorry, just caught this part. I did wind up buying newer Surges to compensate for what I thought was a beat understable disc. The result was not too much overstability, but the same lack of HS stability- imparted, I'm starting to believe, by my inability to direct all of my power around...
