[Question] What was your first disc(s)? Don't be shy, give details.

Didn't play 'disc golf' back then, but as a kid, then a teen, I had built a collection of nearly 40 Frisbees from the late 1960's to late '70's. Still had a couple dozen of those when I started to play disc golf in 2011. But I knew you were supposed to throw disc golf specific molds, so I asked for 'advice' at a Play It Again Sports, and wound up with Birdie, a Shark, and an Orc ...for some reason. Those were what I first threw at disc golf baskets.
...I throw none of those molds now... :\

Disc-n-Dat Open Comet with a Hillbilly holding a jug stamp, a TP Cyclone, and Big Bead Aviar with a Iguana stamp.

Yellow star leopard, chartreuse champion shark (gummy and nice!) and blue DX Aviar, all circa 2006.

I would lose the leopard in the water, and MP'd the shark.

I still putt with my 86 Softies from the '88 Worlds.

My first disc was a Z Predator back in 2003. I got it because it was red and "Predator" sounded cool. I had a pretty good sidearm starting out (baseball), so I did ok with the disc, but it's obviously not the best beginner disc.

Little hazy it has been many moons. I borrowed or rented for a while. Some of the first I remember p38, gazelle, jls, shark

10x KC Pro Eagle and 10x KC Pro Roc bought new off the shelf in 2001

A DX Stingray. It was orange with a green foil stamp. I used it for everything for the first few weeks that I was playing.

My first discs were a ragtag collection of DX junk that I found in lakes. An Eagle, Cheetah, and a Shark. I think I used the Eagle until it got to flippy to do anything with.

My first REAL driver was a champion Orc I found in a lake too.

So much hate for the Aviar on this thread. Making me a little self conscious. :p
