2019 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships Aug 12-17

which is amazing. I'm sure Lloyd and other sub 800 rated players have a blast and 100% support him playing as much disc golf competitively as they want, but that shouldn't include the professional world championships.

So if you got your way, there would not be a world title available in the MPO division? Because what you're proposing is not Mixed Pro Open; it's a ratings protected division.

Here's a FACT:
Lloyd Weema was the most prolific disc thrower in the MPO field at Worlds, not just for one round, but now two days in a row! And he's on pace for the three-peat! I don't see how anyone could, in good faith and conscience, restrict such a player from competing.

This is the most logical argument I've seen on the subject.

I would argue, however, that this kinda already happens based on tiered registration. It's possible that no one under 970 can ever get into the event, which is basically what you are saying shouldn't happen.

No one gaining anything on Cat today. . just two more rounds to go
As of now my 4 picks to be 1-4 is on the R4 Lead card :)

Cat's going to be hard to beat. Eveliina's hanging in there and Paige is creeping.

wow i spoke to soon, after a great putt on 17, Cat totally screwed up on hole 18. . . .and Paige missed her first C1 putt of the day. . Eveliina back on top. . and Henna will join her on the lead card

Looks like someone is trying to intentionally challenge Lloyd... the guy in second to last place just took a 15 on a 300ft hole...

...and went 12 13 9 on the previous 3 holes.
