I have more pics, but I don't know where my wife keeps the camera cord to upload them.

Thank you to everyone who donated stuff, so even a noodle arm like me could walk away with something, even if I did have to be carried by Trey (Kachtz) and golfnbob to get it. :p

Will this be next year as well? If so I soooo want to play

As long as Biscoe lets us, we will. We tried to think of other locations, but nothing compared to Hawk Hollow.

1. it is private so we only had 2 non event players in 3 days
2. Lots of room for free camping and parking
3. many state parks and public courses ban alcohol
4. the Grange is only 20 minutes down the road
5. The course itself is great, exhausting, but great.

Great bunch of guys, had a great time. Love to do it again. Played some good rounds and got schooled by some big arm players. Thanks for putting this all together.

8. Camping outside and inside (a barn)
9. Tiki golf
10. easily reached from as far as pitt or phila

Thanks for sharing so much abuot the weekend guys and posting pics AND saying who's in each picture. I certainly hope I can join next time.

It was a great weekend with perfect weather. Never have I been as tired from two rounds of golf as from two rounds at HH. Picked up a couple discs in some swaps and a couple cool tee-shirts. Learned that being the unlucky guy that has to play solo in the doubles round is unfair at this course. Tiki at night at the grange is just amazing fun. Talked about possible future locals and leigh valley could be one would just need to find private camping to come back to for the partying. Also thought Deleware could be great too, 5-6 courses with in 15 miles.

The greatest part of the weekend though was Chris finally saw me throw a disc.

Nice photo, Bill! But Josh is between Biscoe and Cyclops. Jeff wasn't there for the photo.
And love the action shots from you and Dog.

Everyone was extremely helpful this weekend and cooperative, even those barn people.

Special thanks:

  • Spotsylvania Disc Golf Club, Bob Cannon, Jeff Shattuck, and John Biscoe for the venue, prize donations, canopy, and scoreboard.
  • Chris Hysell and Discraft for prize donations, some free tutoring, laughs and support.
  • Vegan Ray for serving a mean cassoulet.
  • Trey (Kachtz) for the impressive event tee-signs and make-shift benches.
  • Zack (Cyclops) for the table and second canopy (even though it went fairly unused).
  • Dave (Disc Dog) with the awesome huge-ass cooler, taxi service, and photos.
  • Matt (Beable) for the portable basket and Sunday's dohnuts!
  • Tom, Josh, and Daniel (gottafixit) for a great selection of prize donations.
  • Kieran (Kwick) and Trevor (Cheddapig) for the best campfire company ever and laughs throughout.
  • Austin (BMXcrazekid) for keeping the grown-ups in line and out-driving half of us.
  • And last but not least, Bill (prerube) greatly helping out behind the scenes, tending the water jugs, taking photos, and driving my drunk-ass home from tiki.

2011 DGCR Mid-Atlantic Meet
Time/Date: TBD.

[*]Kieran (Kwick) and Trevor (Cheddapig) for the best campfire company ever and laughs throughout.

I'm fairly certain Trevor slept through most of the campfire......
