    Pacific Coast

Hi all! My wife and I will be taking a road trip down the Pacific coast (down the 101), and we would like to stop off of the road for a round of disc golf. Does anyone have any good park suggestions that are close to this road? Thanks!

Review by discgolphinmafaukner in course Holler In The Hills

5.00 star(s) Everything you need! Holler in the Hills sits on a piece of land that sits in the small valley of some hills. This produces some great elevation changes throughout the course. The course starts at the bottom and gradually works it's way up. The pictures do not do this course justice! You...

Review by discgolphinmafaukner in course Chalybeate Springs Sports Complex

3.00 star(s) Fun short course to play Chalybeate disc golf course sits in a public park close to a school. The course has a good balance of grip-and-rip and technical shots. There are times where you are pulling out your fastest driver, and on the next hole you are pulling out your putter to throw through...

Review by discgolphinmafaukner in course Hobson Grove - Original

4.00 star(s) Fantastic Course Hobson Grove is a heavily wooded course circling the old Hobson House in Bowling Green, Ky. Kids in PDGA tournaments without their own division

I actually learned from a teen that played on my card a couple of years ago. It's crazy I'm getting ready to move up to int and he's playin' advanced. Man I wish I had learned about this when I was that young

    Breaking in a new disc

Does anyone have any advice/tips for breaking in a new disc quickly? I need to break in a couple of discs by a tournament in September. I have heard about putting the discs in a pillowcase and putting them in a clothes dryer. Anyone heard/experienced good/bad things about doing that? Thanks!

Why do pros choose hyzers on open holes?

I'm not a pro, but I throw hyzer upshots quite a bit simply because it's predictable.

    Glow Round Tree Hitting

Do you think that you would hit more trees during a glow round in the dark because you cannot see them? Or do you think you would hit fewer trees because they cannot be seen as well in the dark and hence, cannot effect how you aim from the teepad? Thoughts? Comments?
