Hi all!
My wife and I will be taking a road trip down the Pacific coast (down the 101), and we would like to stop off of the road for a round of disc golf. Does anyone have any good park suggestions that are close to this road?
Thanks!

Everything you need!
Holler in the Hills sits on a piece of land that sits in the small valley of some hills. This produces some great elevation changes throughout the course. The course starts at the bottom and gradually works it's way up. The pictures do not do this course justice! You...

Fun short course to play
Chalybeate disc golf course sits in a public park close to a school. The course has a good balance of grip-and-rip and technical shots. There are times where you are pulling out your fastest driver, and on the next hole you are pulling out your putter to throw through...

Fantastic Course
Hobson Grove is a heavily wooded course circling the old Hobson House in Bowling Green, Ky. The course is heavily wooded; some of the holes are set in wooded areas while the rest run through bigger, mature trees. Elevation plays a big part in adding difficulty to this course...
Ya I'm definitely planning on making the hour drive to watch the final 9 AT LEAST. I'd also like to watch the 2nd round at vettiner. I had a blast watching some pros last year at the fun farm!
I actually learned from a teen that played on my card a couple of years ago. It's crazy I'm getting ready to move up to int and he's playin' advanced. Man I wish I had learned about this when I was that young
Does anyone have any advice/tips for breaking in a new disc quickly? I need to break in a couple of discs by a tournament in September.
I have heard about putting the discs in a pillowcase and putting them in a clothes dryer. Anyone heard/experienced good/bad things about doing that?
Thanks!
Do you think that you would hit more trees during a glow round in the dark because you cannot see them? Or do you think you would hit fewer trees because they cannot be seen as well in the dark and hence, cannot effect how you aim from the teepad?
Thoughts? Comments?
Believe it or not, I lost a dx stingray a couple of weeks ago. Hole 14 at Old English. The only reason I stopped was because it could be replaced easily...

Open yet tight, a dg conundrum
Kereiakes is another beautiful park in Bowling Green, KY. The course has many cedar trees which serve as the main hazard on this course. The course plays up and down a valley so elevation definitely comes into play. Most of the holes have two sets of tees. The...

Bombs Away!
Lover's Lane is a mostly open disc golf course in Bowling Green, KY. The fairways on this course are the best fairways I have ever seen. I could sleep on the grass in this park every night. The course loops around back to the parking lot after hole 9 and again after 18. The...
Patoka is a nice course imo. It's technical but it will make you work for birdies. The rough is exactly that...rough, but it's in the middle of Hoosier National Forest, so what do you expect?
