2.50 star(s) Here's a review All par three, scrubby pine and oak, beach golf. Not a ton of distance but variable from 220-380 feet. I think it was on the Upshot interview, he mentioned he didn't like playing three courses as one of the main reasons for not going to the LVC.

They've said they're doing GBO for sure. There may have been others, GBO is the only one I can recall.

In 2014, Climo and Schultz had both won consecutive worlds titles but Climo was the only one with three. Also, he did not win USDGC longer than people expected, unless that means just the first two. Barry won in 2001.

Something I'm not sure has been mentioned yet: new trees on the fairway of hole 5. Right now, they're 4-5 feet tall, and only knocking down bad shots. But in 5 years, the fairway will be considerably tighter.

It looks like holes 9-12, the island green of 13, and 17 will be stroke and distance. Did I miss any? Please correct me if I'm wrong but most of these have been stroke and distance for the past few USDGCs.

I'm talking about a 1/2 hour radius. I live basically a half hour drive or less from all of those courses. I would have had a hard time coming up with a good half hour radius list for Raleigh. But, yes, I agree, those are some great courses to have about an hour away. That list compares...
