I have 16 innova discs and 2 discraft discs.. the two discraft ones are a driver I was given from a friend (Elite Z XS) and a BUZZ I traded for because its such a versatile disc
I will also throw the roc if the tee off is 250 or less. If its longer I usually just throw some kind of driver depending on what is in the way and how the disc has to curve. I would say the roc is the most versatile disc and I use it until I am within 75 after the drive.
I have to agree with skurf when he says it is proper etiquette to keep the course moving. I like it when I can walk up to the next tee, maybe watch the group ahead of us tee off and sit for a second, but on the long holes you can't wait for them to hole out...it would take a little too long...
I was practicing at a neighboring high school on the football field, and I threw one from one endzone and it hit the uprights on the other side! I was throwing for a long time and finally I got one to just FLY!
I carry a beat up Dx Roc and a fairly new Buzz.. I found out that I throw the Roc for about the same distance... but I can keep it straight for the entire flight path. With the Buzz I found it turns more towards the end of the flight path.
I would want to use the "ace" disc on any hole that I played that was similar, therefore I couldn't retire the disc because it would end up being like Brett Favre and not STAYING retired.

I have noticed that my beat up Viking flies more true now than it did when it was new. I thought maybe it was just because I was becoming a better discer, but after reading all these I think that the weathering could be good for it. I was throwing it around at the house and the dog that loves to...

Nice course in the woods. They did well designing it in the space they had provided. Not a long walk between holes. Also a challenging couse due to the amount of trees and location of the pins. Score cards were available, and they showed how the course played out.
The skeeters were terrible. The...
We play if you ace a hole... You owe the group that is discing burgers from a local restaurant. If a shot looks like it could potentially go in... "Burgers" is being yelled by everyone including the person that threw.
Also we play were nothing is said while the person is in their backswing...
