I believe it didn't happen because they were never able to get the right permits. The person who owned the land was universally hated by the local township and so it was very unlikely that they would ever get them. I believe they spent all of their capital before figuring this out.
To be fair that business plan was created over 4 months ago and Megadisc hasn't touted that as their final business plan. For all we know that was a first draft.

In general the MN disc golf scene is great. There are a lot of quality courses and great tournaments and events that go on all year long.
There are more than a few people that have their own unique view on the sport and aren't afraid to let people know. I highly doubt it is much better/worse...
That is a very good point. You shouldn't be giving advice on a disc unless you've seen the person throw it or at least ask how he throws it, how far he throws it and what the disc usually does for him.

Unfortunately the state is will want to extort money from you for providing a simple service to willing customers.
The state routinely shuts down people who simply give food out to needy neighborhood children or homeless people.
