I believe it didn't happen because they were never able to get the right permits. The person who owned the land was universally hated by the local township and so it was very unlikely that they would ever get them. I believe they spent all of their capital before figuring this out.
To be fair that business plan was created over 4 months ago and Megadisc hasn't touted that as their final business plan. For all we know that was a first draft.
Their indigogo page has a ton more information on it and they have stated on the Twin Cities Disc Golf Facebook page that they are...
In general the MN disc golf scene is great. There are a lot of quality courses and great tournaments and events that go on all year long.
There are more than a few people that have their own unique view on the sport and aren't afraid to let people know. I highly doubt it is much better/worse...
That is a very good point. You shouldn't be giving advice on a disc unless you've seen the person throw it or at least ask how he throws it, how far he throws it and what the disc usually does for him.

With that being said, I go to sanctioned PDGA events to compete and get away from that type of behavior. There are a ton of leagues and unsanctioned...
I can't remember the exact date but it was pushed back from mid September to late September so the ratings will be as up to date as possible for the USDGC.
There are a lot of different gun parts being made with 3D printers. The most famous one is the lower receiver for an AR-15, because according to law that IS the gun. The lower receiver is what needs to have a serial number on it and tracked.
It is perfectly legal to make your own gun and not...
3D printers are great for making prototypes and small runs of specialty parts. The cost for high quality 3D printers are going down drastically each year and the usefulness of them is increasing exponentially.
As for making discs, it would be interesting to see some hobbyists do it and it...
People were blatantly violating the rules? How is that a cheap trick? If you can't get through a round without marijuana/drinking then perhaps they should stick to rec rounds or unsanctioned events. If you can't get by without doing those things before or after a round you have a lot more...
