D: hyzer flip with beat up Wraith
F: Tunnels with Teebird
M: spike hyzers with Drone
P: pinpoint lasers with Banger
TSS: forehand rollers with Firebird, Buzzz, Drone, Banger (depending on shot)
This is a new course almost completed in Nashville's Shelby Park. As of now there are 16 of 18 baskets in, and 10 have concrete tees at this point.
It is now the closest one to the downtown area of Nashville. The course is mostly a hilly "grove course" with just a few holes in the woods...
For 5-10 footers, I actually leave my bag on one shoulder to force my body to putt like this. I have no choice to just arm it in when the other half of my body has the wieght of my bag on it. Sometimes I've taken it off to hit an "important" close putt.. it feels weird and I'll end up missing...

I have a three-legged boxer with limited stamina...so I use a similar tactic when I bring her along. I say " oh, we're just taking a break, go ahead" ...even though she is a trooper..and begs to go play with me every time I put on my disc golf shoes :)
Yeah, this is usually my plan of action. What's weird is that this happens only on my home course..which is mostly frequented by newer players. At other courses around where more advanced players play, they are eager to play through. So, it seems the newer players are truly trying to just be...
So, this happens to me quite frequently. I play a lot of solo rounds, yet I play relatively slowly compared to the others at my home course. I like to take my time..focus on the shot..and if it isn't crowded, which it usually isn't, I'll take some practice shots too.

Grip can make all the difference. I found the 2 finger grip to give me lots of power but I had no control, tons of OAT, and subsequently either rolled them over or sawed them off early trying to overcompensate. Try using a 2 finger stack grip with your index bent and your middle straight...both...
Besides putting mastery.. which is most important by far.. I'd say a consistent 275-300ft. FH. I've worked on it off and on for years.. and it finally clicked the last couple of months. Being proficient and confident with a BH and FH will bust your game wide open. It gives you so many more...
It is also an option to throw a shot that will "give it a run" .. but not fly too far past the basket... ruining your chances for birdie.
I've found by throwing slower discs on flatter lines.. you can float a putter or mid..or even a fairway..that has a chance to go in.. but will also still...
I max Teebirds at 300 and even though I can only get my wraiths and Destroyers 50 past that.. I still think those high speed drivers let me better shape certain lines due to there general quickness in flight..and usually for the same or slightly more distance. Also.. I can throw a s 325...
