I liked Bryant Lake better than Flip, yes. I am surprised you do not like Bryant Lake. It is not exceptional in the sense of difficulty - I think it is a great MA2 caliber course. But the installation and fun factor for me really boost it up the list.
Flip is fun and to play the "Field of...
I recently returned from almost a month long friends/family/baseball/disc golf trip that included traveling to see five ballparks (CIN, MIL, MIN, STL, PIT) and 22 disc golf courses across nine states (OH, IN, MI, WI, MN, IA, MO, IL, PA). While it was not quite what was supposed to happen in...
Updated after playing the amazing Stoney Hill course in Newberry, SC! Wow!!:clap:Two courses that have a similar feel but are definitely unique courses in their own rights. Privately owned course, you need to call ahead to play, but I will definitely be going back again since it is...
I made the drive up about a week and a half ago. I did not find it to be an amazing course. If I give Nevin a 4/5 stars for reference (since you are from Charlotte, you know this course), I would give Keeley a 3/5 stars.
I am really excited for this event to come to Charlotte. I played the course yesterday and it is absolutely fit for the top professionals to play it. It is in phenomenal condition and the forecast looks perfect for this weekend as well.
I played Rolling Hills when I went up to MI last month with a buddy. I am from the area, but didn't start playing disc golf until I lived in Charlotte. That course did not disappoint. Beautiful course that demands a variety of shots to score well.
I'll be sure to check out Independence Lake...
I am looking to buy discs that have the Discraft bar stamp, but where the D is the Detroit Tigers Old English D. Pic for example. However, I am not looking for these buzzes, I am looking for other buzzes with this stamp and other molds also. Thanks!
Can't wait for the pro teebirds I ordered to get here. I bag pro valks and thunderbirds and am really excited that Innova made this run of pro teebirds. Now if they could also make pro leopard3s ...
This is what I do. However, I actually go further and break fairways into control fairways and distance fairways.
So I end up with:
spike/envy/zone
buzzz ss/buzz/justice
leopard3/teebird/banshee
valkyrie/thunderbird/firebird
thrasher/destroyer
What I find is that I have some discs I throw...
I bad both, but I bag a star teebird and a pro thunderbird. I find the thunderbird goes significantly further than my teebird. They get similar flight paths, but my thunderbird goes about 30-40ft further. With that much difference, I don't feel there is overlap.
I bag both discs and they do not overlap. For reference, my arm speed is similar to your arm speed and I get about a good 25-30 more feet with my thunderbirds than I do with a teebird. I bag a star teebird and a pro thunderbird fwiw. The star thunderbirds were too overstable for me and...
Does it take a little while to beat in? I grabbed an elite x buzzz and in the field so far it has flown every bit as stable as z plastic for me. The buzzz ss fresh had a good bit more turn than the elite x buzzz.
