2019 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships Aug 12-17

McBeth looks unbelievably confident right now. Emerson isn't going away but the tournament is Paul's to lose.

And while he's still not a factor in the tournament, congrats to Eagle for throwing his third 1100 rated round of the past six month.

For reference as to how good that is, McBeth has 6 1100 rated rounds for his career.

Not really liking that they were manipulating the string like that. I know the TD was right there and probably okayed doing it, but what if that happens five groups previous when the TD's not around? Should players be moving an OB string like that? I don't think they should be. It's a big presumption to say the string "should have been here but it got moved".
The caddie book specifically states that the string can be pulled taut from stake to stake to determine its correct location.

So if Innova has any sense, we need some Lloyd Weema Tour Series Metal Flake Color Glow Champ Grooves, I know I'd buy one as a wall hanger.

I've heard Grooves make very good OH discs, and doesn't LW exclusively throw OH? That would explain the sub 800 rating IMO.

Just woke up up, had to go to bed after the F9 yesterday. . .and now i see a 3 putt from Paul on 15, that´s rare . .. so he made every other C1 putt, but on 15 he missed two?

Paint in grass like that wouldn't have been any clearer.

IMO, if they're going to use string like that, they need to secure it better to the ground so it can't be moved. Or it needs to be taught already so there is no slack for the players to play with.

Fortunate that even with the manipulation of the string, the call didn't change, so ultimately it doesn't matter.

Actually it is, cause players can't manipulating lines. And that's what matters!

Insane that Eagle can throw a 1101 rated -14 . . and still be 16 throws behind McBeth over just 3 rounds!!

That 2nd OB on hole 8 for Emerson, why was that OB? it did touch land/mud and it looked like a part of the disc was out of the water

And a dumb question. . why is Okaley´s name ahead of Ricky´s on Udisc? , they have the same score and both had -10 R3 rounds. . But Ricky´s PDGA number is lower. . or do they count the R2 results ( Oakley had a better score in R2 than Rick )

I thought the PDGA number was the decider

Pdga number is used after the first round, then scores are used as the tiebreaker but if they had shot the same all three rounds then the pdga number would be used.

Pretty sure EK went full splash and the question was about Clemons' disc.

Ok, it was hard to tell as they played from the same spot ( kind of an odd spot they were given to take their putt from ) I feel like the grass should have been the OB line, not the Water ( the water level was very low, what if the water dryes up..no OB then? )

Stakes and string feels odd for an OB line. .

What if he lands OB by a inch and another player on the card throws a hit a stake and bends it back an inch so that the first throwers disc is now inside the string?

It looked like one of the stakes, the one where Emerson was squatting down was bent back
