    Portland, OR - Any Options?

I'll be in Portland from May 18th to 22nd for a work conference - staying downtown. Looking at my schedule, I really only will have free time Sunday (18th) afternoon and Monday (19th) afternoon/evening. I suppose I could be free Tuesday or Wednesday after meetings end at 5, but I figure that's...

    Trusted Reviewer Stats

That's an awesome ratio - makes you feel loved. I'm at 5.8 thumbs per review and I thought that was really low, since a few of mine only have 1 thumb (still waiting on the elusive first thumb from the lovely Michigan Tech course! :D lol), but I guess it's not too bad. It helps that in general...

Review by nyrblue2 in course The Course @ Fontanel

3.00 star(s) Ups and Downs 18 hole course that plays across some open fields and through the woods of a....not quite sure what to call this place - a "tourist destination" in the most general sense? - Nice setting - you're welcomed by nice, groomed open fields with thick, wooded, "hills" in the background...

    Difficult hole help

Obviously depends on your skills/capabilities/distance/etc. I was thinking a Stingray, as someone mentioned earlier. Assuming once you get past the thick trees, you can afford to go straight at the pin or slight anny the whole way. If the lines are such that you need to come back to the left...

[Innova] Innova guys: Anyone prefer the Eagle over the Teebird?

I throw both. DX Teebird for hyzer flips, Champ Teebird for slight flex or straight without fading too much, Champ Eagle for straight with a fairly consistent fade at the end.

HOD 7/23/13: Central Park in Schenectady, NY

Sweet! My home course. Pic "from the blue tee" looks to be almost halfway up the fairway. As tunnel-like as that picture is, it's even more so from the actual tee. Tight alley if you want to go 350' on a frozen rope, otherwise the birdie shot is a forehand (RHFH) that flexes through a gap...

    27 Hole Monster or 2 18's

Iron Hill is bat**** crazy as it is. I like the idea of 2 courses, especially if the "short" one can be 7000' on its own.

Man dies while playing disc golf

Can't tell if you're trolling or not... If anything, me posting that example of the '03 blackout is a prime example of how "flipping a switch" causes huge problems to the grid. (Granted, I'm not talking about the same type of switch that is used to "cut power" to a line, but again, I don't...

Man dies while playing disc golf

You are massively underestimating the volatility of the electrical grid. "Killing all power" in one area can have a cascading effect on MUCH larger areas and cause widespread blackouts (The blackout that knocked out the entire Northeast in 2003 was because some jackass in Ohio left a switch in...
