I avoided buying one of these, but ended up winning one as a door prize. I don't think I even want to throw it. I know a lot of you are MVP fans, but in my opinion, their plastic feels like shit. It was in the 40s out when I got it, but it was rock hard, slick, and really deep to the point...
Been a quiet ace year for me, but hit my 42nd ace today at our doubles league. Hole 9 at Rock River Disc Golf Course in Watertown. It was a forehand, skip ace around 290'. Got me $214 plus some "51" money.
I don't play a ton of events but I did play a couple in the past month or so. Went up to 971. The next few rounds that will drop off will be the lowest ones that are still counting towards my rating. I'd love to hit the 980s, but I will have to shoot well for my next couple events for that to...
Front center cage all day. With the slow, nose down flight, I have a hard time getting enough oomph on the shot to get it to the basket. If it is calm out, I can be successful, but any wind and I have no shot.
Do these exist? I have been pretty good at throwing the frisbee for a long time, but putting has always been a challenge for me. I spent a lot of time filming myself yesterday trying to make changes, but found it extremely hard to actually make changes. Even when I would really try to...
I got two Halo Vela, both of them have SUPER uneven flight plates. From the top they looks like an epic but from the side view, one side has a normal eagle shoulder while the other side is flat. Anyone else get some weird shaped discs?
Has anyone thrown the new Calvin Destroyers enough to know if there is a color variation again? I got two purple rims and one of them is more workable while the other is pretty overstable, but not anything near the og calvin halos.
I have been having the hardest time with this same thing over the past year. For an extended time period I used thunderbirds and TL3s as my fairways. There were very few times that I felt like I needed a teebird in my bag. Now, I have the hawkeye, teebird, and thunderbird in my bag and I...
They had a couple x out echo destroyers around Thanksgiving that I scooped up for cheap. They are on the understable side of a destroyer for sure. Out of the box they had more turn than my most beat up destroyer I am currently bagging.
As someone that changes discs in their bag every round I play, it doesn't take more than a couple throws to figure out a new disc. He will be fine with wherever he goes. They don't even need understable discs on the first half of the tour which will make it even easier.
39th of my career and 5th of the year. Hole 5 from the short tee at Rock River DGC in Watertown. About 280' on a forehand skip with a 22 sexton firebird. The green area is a little cleaned up compared to the picture but the forehand gives you the biggest gap into the basket. League ace too...
I bought 3 of them and fell in love on the first throw. The flight is what I remember from the rocs that made me throw them in the first place. I ordered 5 more after that first round with them and hopefully will be set for a long time.
