I got an ace on my very first throw during league at Kinslow Park. I shanked the Meteor on hole 9, it hit some branches and floated right into the basket. $120 ace pot to me, and I shot even for my first round of league this year.
I lost my orange Ace Race Heat on hole 3 at Hambrick today, as well as my purple ESP Zone on hole C :(
I threw my Heat into the wooded area between 2 and 3, only to mysteriously disappear
The Zone I know is up in a thorny tree, I even saw another disc stuck up there. So at least...
I actually had a Champ Wraith several years ago but I felt like it wasn't working for me. I also had a DX Wraith that was suuuuper flippy and would roll over even on a ridiculous hyzer. I took the distance drivers out of my bag for a while so I could work with slower discs. Then I eventually got...
Yea you've got that right! I thought this color would be bright but it blends in to the sunlit ground and can be difficult to see. I'm going to have to play it safe with this disc lest I lose another OS driver!
I recently got a G* Wraith to replace my trusty Star Wraith that I threw in the water at Gordon Holton DGC. It started off rather meaty but quickly worked in after a few tree hits. Now it flies like a dream, like a Wraith should.
The Wraith has become one of my favorite discs, it just flies so...
Just got this bad boy to replace my lost Sexton Firebird (RIP).
The online description says that the Doombird has more glide than the Firebird, but that is a bold faced lie. This disc is a beefcake. I could get my Firebird out flat and have it ride for a second before hooking, but this disc...
I lost my Sexton Firebird at Simsbury on hole 4 long. I forehanded it short into the rough on the right, never to be seen again.
If anyone in central Ohio finds it, I'll gladly buy you some beer for it.
I lost two discs at Gordon Holton Memorial DGC in Delaware, OH yesterday.
A pink Comet on hole 2 (or 3), and then a blue Wraith on hole 17 that I flubbed right into the water.
Not the best round, but it was a nice day otherwise.
Man, I'm sorry for your loss! That is tough, I know how it goes. Losing a furry family member is not easy, especially when they are sick. We just gotta love our doggies while we can. Like George Carlin said, you are buying a heartbreak :(. Even though the joy that dogs bring to your life greatly...
We saw somebody ace hole 5 at Hambrick yesterday. It was incredible, this guy's lie was right near us on hole 4 and I said to my brother how it would be awesome to ace this hole. Hole 5 is an elevated basket on a pyramid, about 6 feet tall and 270ish from the tee.
We were teeing the next hole...
Yea, I thought it was weird too. I mean, I literally just saw a wiped disc a couple days ago and you could definitely see the ghost of the stamp. This disc is all by its lonesome.
Thanks for your help! I have a Teebird but not an Eagle. Maybe I'll visit the store :D
That is the stamp. I looked at it in the light, there's nothing there. There's not even a trace of the penned initials on the back. There are no other markings on this disc
Look out, it's the fun police! I think people with stinky attitudes shouldn't be allowed on disc golf courses! Because after all, the problem here is PEOPLE, not dogs. The way you raise your dogs (and kids) is the issue. Well, I say kids are unpredictable and cause trouble, so no kids on the...
Nice cattle dog! We play with my brother's dog that is a cattle dog, and no one on the course could say otherwise because she is the cornerstone of our disc golf team. She naturally started sniffing out our discs in the rough and we are spoiled by her disc finding abilities. She also catches...
Damn, I just found out through reddit. I didn't really follow what was going on, but Cubby aces go way back to my early DG days. From what I understand he was always forehanding Firebirds and getting skip-aces (even if he had to throw 100 times). I think the term "Cubby ace" has been cemented...
Well, not that I have anything figured out but I played tonight and had some pretty good rips on the forehand! I released them on a good hyzer and I could feel the follow-through with my shoulder. I basically tried to keep the disc on a straight line when I threw and it seemed to make a...
