well... on Saturday... I played OK... +18 on 18 holes at Wickham nothing spectacular this week... nothing terrible either... lost by one throw to one of my weekend group... still thinking about that 100 ft chain in last week... where's the next high??? can I top that???

I haven't played for 2 weeks... this is day 12 in a row at work... the Market Basket strike has my company so busy selling to their customers... so much overtime... they've shipped me up to near the New Hampshire border 5 of the last 8 days... they pay travel, overtime, and I'm raking it in...

turned my DX 172 Valk over on the drive off Hole A in Wickham Park, CT... went off over the trees into the brush 250 feet down past the hole C cutout... 20 min search turned up nothing... perhaps when winter comes...

is it a 45 ft putt because it was a putter round or do you consider 45 foot shots to be putts?

Well... I didn't intend to, but I played 2 rounds today... West Thompson Dam... First Round... I hit 19 Trees and a Fence Post, 1 Birdie (a beautiful 40 Ft approach chained in), including the birdie got 2 best hole scores (4 & 14)... however 79? yeah I'm now a tad disappointed in a high 70's...

I hit a LOT of trees... and contended with the wind, and did ok... won the round... got a personal best on a few holes and played the 4 extras so a DCGR rating actually came up...yay!

that's gotta be a serious thorn to puncture plastic
