[Question] 1 disc you do, 1 you don't

Click: Latitude 64 Pain - As my primary mid disc, it provides a ton of easy confidence on multiple lines and in different plastics can do almost all mid range jobs. I find it far preferable that most Lat64 players' choice of the Mace, or other players using discs like Rocs. Don't Click...

[Mids] What mids do you bag?

6 mids in a bag of 20 discs. 2 Drones - 1 fresh flat Ti, 1 abused mild dome Z, both max weight 2 Pains - 1 flat Opto, 1 flat beat-in GL, Opto is light at 155g, GL is max 2 Makos - 1 fresh Champion (Mako3), 1 moderately used Star, both max weight Drones for open fields, winds, or when I am...

[Question] For open upshots, which disc and line do you choose to throw?

If it really is to far to run the putt, and my options are open for the approach - I throw an Envy on a mild hyzer backhand. The disc is a sweet spot in stability for me and an easy hyzer can't get much easier to control. Predictability is always good.

    [Recommend] Best Tweeners

I love my mids, but the addition of Envies to my lineup takes up a lot of their play time. Really solid disc with either power or finnesse. Other tweeners I've tried yet dropped: Trident (fairway that acts like a mid) Warship (mid that acts like a fairway) Switch (fairway that acts like a...

[Putters] ISO: Shallow, Beadless Slightly Overstable Putter

Are you me?! Currently in the same rough spot. I carry Swan2s as my primary putter, and have in the past used different very OS putters. Sinus, Rhyno, Wizard, Challenger, PA1. I didn't care for the beaded options, I didn't like thumbtrac options. I didn't like the inner rim depth of some...

    This sounds sketchy as hell

    Your Favorite Plastic

    1. Opto. Any of the Opto/Champion/EliteZ type plastics are great really, just a mild preference for Opto of the others. 2. BT Soft. This stuff is the texture of velvet and it is delicious. 3. Gstar. Quickly growing on me. Love the flex and grip even if it does feel a bit unusual for me still.

    Best FIRST driver

ALWAYS get a slow and mildly understable fairway for new players first. Teaches so many things while giving great rewards for control AND distance. If they crave some stability, but don't have the form/arm yet, utilize a more overstable mid range. The leopard fits this category perfectly...

[Question] What's the most understable disc you regularly use?

Pro Wraith - 166g, domey, and worn in. Its not even funny. Its there for a niche shot.

    [Question] most Overstable disc?

Viper > Max > Tachyon LF

[Discraft] Thoughts on the name of the 2014 Ace Race Disc

While the bee theme is ever popular and bugs in general with Discraft (and a good marketing strategy), this disc fits into a faster category that typically does not receive bug naming conventions. Names like Force, Surge, Pulse, Flash, Crush, and Flick are more in that disc range I believe. I...

[Question] What's the One Disc You Give a Noob?

First response has it correct for me. Neutral mid for sure. I usually tell newer people to grab a Buzzz or a Comet. If I'm on the course with my own bag, I hand newer players my Makos to see how it treats them. Neutral mids are great for such a diverse array of shots, especially at early...

[Help] Looking for a mid that flies like a Roc3 but has no bead

Innova Shark3 or a Latitude64 Pain Very similar indeed. I have never been a fan of the bead. Feels ... funky ...

    [Discraft] Z Tracker

I throw Trackers. I currently bag one OOP ESP Tracker and one older stamped OOP Z Tracker. I also like the current production run of Z Trackers, but for me it is just to much overlap to bag them all. I treat my ESP Tracker like many treat a Firebird. While not quite as stable as most...

    Where Do You Shop Online?

Poll results so far are not surprising. Disc Golf Center is the lowest cost when doing small orders, especially for single discs. Marshall Street is cheaper when buying larger quantities and they are very specific with their information given. We love a lot of sites for a lot of reasons, but...

What's the most you'd pay for a bag?

Totally personal. Bags in the triple digit range quickly start to lose their appeal for me. As the price goes up past this point, the "features" get relatively smaller, while the price gets higher. The difference between starter bags to intermediate bags is a large disc capacity for the most...

[Discmania] discmania FD- jackal ...its coming

Just got a 174g C-Line FD Jackal from discgolfcenter.com It is almost flat. Haven't gotten a chance to throw it yet with weather, but it has FAR less dome than my S-Line FD Jackals, and as far as I can tell, the same dome I got used to on my old C-Line before I lost it.
