It's official, Quail Canyon is open for business. The Tucson Disc Golf Club has done a few tournaments there and recently did a fund raiser for baskets to be permanently installed. I'm not sure who made it happen or how they did it, but I'm sure glad it happened. Check out the local news...

I agree with this completely, especially as you start getting older. Maintaining flexibility will also help with things like reach back and a smooth pull through. This will likely lead to better releases, which leads to better throws in general.

I like it. It's a non-complicated solution and it looks good too.

Unfortunately, mine has done something similar. The rest of the bag has held up well so far but this makes it fairly uncomfortable to use as a backpack now. I really liked the design of the bag and the price was fair. Sadly though, I think I'll have to start shopping for a replacement soon.

I would probably go with the shaving cream method. The trick would be making the swirl pattern look right. I'll be curious to see what others recommend.

My suggestion would be to go for it. Study up on the PDGA rules so you know what to expect and let the others on your card know that you're learning. In my experience, people are usually friendly and willing to help you out during smaller tournaments. And remember, it's about having fun...
