Hannah has no reason to be there...except you know...her husband.
So GG shoots 8 under. Recorded as 7 under but still is forced to take another shot penalty cause the score was miss-recorded higher?
That's got to be the dumbest rule I've ever heard of. If you are recorded a shot worse that is already a penalty, no need to add salt to the wound. I understand it's the players responsibility..... It's just a dumb rule. I could see if it was recorded as less then dock him an extra shot, but not the other way.
Just seems like a way a devious player keeping score could screw someone over if they were that evil.
But if the players have been removed from the scoring process, I don't see how it's fair to penalize them for someone else's mistake.
Dumb question: Are players still keeping score on DGPT, or is the volunteer keeping the official score on U-Disc? I honestly haven't noticed players keeping score this year.
Normally, a scoring error is a two-stroke penalty. Ultimately, the players are responsible for reporting their correct score. I've always liked the idea of everyone on the card double checking the official card prior to turning it in. That way, any errors are on clearly the fault of the player.
But if the players have been removed from the scoring process, I don't see how it's fair to penalize them for someone else's mistake.
Some unlikely names at the top of the leaderboard.
And married life often adds plenty of stress in itself.
