Review by Chromezero in course Quail Canyon

4.00 star(s) The Best Course in Tucson - The course is located in a nice canyon, with none of the typical park hazards you'll find at the other courses in Tucson, i.e., dogs running wild, bicyclers/walkers/joggers, day time nappers, gang graffiti, car traffic, etc. - The disc golf course flows with the ball...

Quail Canyon in Tucson, AZ now open!

Well, we may not need the grass to be green but we're still causing wear/tear to the fairways, bunkers, and so on, meaning the course will need to be watered/raked for the ball golfers. Additionally, a large attraction to playing at Quail Canyon is the fact that they have green grass, a pond...

Quail Canyon in Tucson, AZ now open!

During the Sunday Sizzling League they hosted at Quail Canyon, we played along side ball golfers and it went fine. The course is a par 3 course for ball golfers, so it's works out great for disc golf as well. We throw from the tee boxes and the baskets are generally close to the greens. I don't...

Quail Canyon in Tucson, AZ now open!

It's official, Quail Canyon is open for business. The Tucson Disc Golf Club has done a few tournaments there and recently did a fund raiser for baskets to be permanently installed. I'm not sure who made it happen or how they did it, but I'm sure glad it happened. Check out the local news...

cmckee1, those are some killer dyes. I really like that Spitfire Roadrunner. It looks just like one of their wheels.

Disc Golf Cart Pictures and ideas

Now that's a neat idea davidrboy. It has an old-time Americana vibe to it and it seems pretty functional too. Is there a way to keep the lid open?

    Flexibility vs. Strength?

I agree with this completely, especially as you start getting older. Maintaining flexibility will also help with things like reach back and a smooth pull through. This will likely lead to better releases, which leads to better throws in general.

    Anchor protector / markers

I like it. It's a non-complicated solution and it looks good too.

    Salient Ember 8 month review

Unfortunately, mine has done something similar. The rest of the bag has held up well so far but this makes it fairly uncomfortable to use as a backpack now. I really liked the design of the bag and the price was fair. Sadly though, I think I'll have to start shopping for a replacement soon.

Best dye method to achieve a bowling ball look

I would probably go with the shaving cream method. The trick would be making the swirl pattern look right. I'll be curious to see what others recommend.
