Not super surprising and prob a good move for him.
I don't think the DD sponsorship panned out the way either of them, DG or DD, had expected or hoped. The potential he had shown before signing with DD didn't really continue on that same trajectory and maybe he didn't ever feel completely...
They fly almost exactly like Pinnacle rivals for me. Which is similar low speed stability, but with less high speed stability, resulting in a net straighter flight. So, more like a -1,2 vs 0,2 of the teebird.
General question.. what's up with the merging of faction brands web presence then separation again? Does this reflect anything in the relationship b/t the companies or just a strategic move?
I have my main tourney bag that stays inside the house and a casual bag that stays inside the car.
My tourney bag is pretty paired down, but my casual bag is essentially a smorgasbord of random discs. I have this thing about trying discs from other manufacturers to see how they fly in...
Don't have an answer for you, but I've been wondering the same thing.. historically I believe they released new bags in May. However, last year was the first time they didn't have a design update. Might be worth emailing them to see what their plans are for this year.
Capacity.. When I had...
I'll have to trust your word more than mine, as you're the resident MVP expert. To be fair, I was testing these relatively early into my playing and am always trying to navigate how to play in the winds we have out here (gusts of 30-40 often times), so you may be very well right.
I gave MVP a really good long look on a decent number of molds, but eventually only ever used a couple regularly (impulse and inertia) and now I bag none. My biggest struggle with them and (maybe?) overmolds is that they were great in calm conditions, but their supposedly overstable molds did...
as mentioned above, check the zipper pouch at the bottom of the bag behind the lumbar padding. if not there, contact the site you bought it from, bc it definitely is supposed to have one.
The problem I've had with most of the options is them being either too flippy or not flippy enough. This can greatly affect the mold you might find ideal. For me, I'm usually throwing an understable mid in pretty wooded courses and need a flip up with low power requirement, but isn't too finicky...
Gateway element is the most underrated option. I've tried many discs for this... but the best option is a beat up roc. Get a pro or dx roc3 and play a few 1 disc rounds in the most wooded course you have near you.
