That's my contention. The mold is set specific (I'm assuming) and the injector will lay out the required amount of plastic. I'm sure there are variances but it wouldn't be too much. While stacking a bunch of disc together and averaging them out might not be the most accurate it wouldn't vary too...
I'm either not good enough or discriminating enough to realize a few grams here or there. I generally grab something in the 170 range or 160, etc. etc. I couldn't tell whether it's 171 or 175.
That being said if they are selling items in such precise measurement (a gram ain't much weight) then...
I don't specifically say "Well I'm driving now I'm going to use three fingers" or "I'm approaching so I'll use two this time" but I have found that there are times I've used variations and a lot of the time I do drive with two finger grip and I've thrown just as well (or just a lousy) using them...
It is a tight fit. Especially when it's new and stiff. Try and get all the wrinkles out of it. It might help to cram a bunch of bath towels in the bag for a day or two to get it into shape. I didn't have to do this though. Mine came all folded up and flat as a pancake. I just sort of worked it in.
