    TeeJay88's Bag

Try out an SFD to pair with your Teebirds for understable duty in that range.

    Discmania TD2 Fever

I don't know how I feel about this. Most of my CTDs when fresh had the perfect hyzerflip into a turnover. The STDs were pretty straight for the most part though, and I had to put some english on them to do right. If this turns even more, it seems kind of useless, except if specs willing to be...

[Question] Should the PDGA have their own flight chart?

It seems pointless for the PDGA to do this. You really only need a universal set of flight characteristics, if those numbers were going to be precise to each and every player. Since every person, every disc, and in fact, every throw is different, you lose all possibility of having precision...

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Official Thread)

Anyone know when Disc Golf Center restocks MVP? I've been checking every morning for a few weeks to catch some 175 Neutron Anodes (2 Black and 2 White, preferably). Most people use 175g putters, I don't know why they order so many <175g just so they can sit around the warehouse.

    Some Putting Tips

Seems like a lot of elbow movement for a spin putt.

    My bag 2012 - Feedback/critique appreciated

Looks pretty solid. Have you ever tried a TD in the role of your Swords? It's slower and I think fits better. And Saints/PDs are probably overlapping a lot, but you've already acknowledged that.

[Discmania] Power Driver Freak PEEDEE Thread

I'm also going to have to start cycling in a new SPD in case I lose mine, which just recently made it to the sweet spot.

HOD 08/28/12: Flewellen Creek DGC in Fulshear, TX

There's no creek behind the basket... The legend shows just a trail behind it, with a street behind that, with water between the tee and pins is all. I'd throw an Axis on a hyzer ace run.

    bhadella's bag

The biggest concern I see is mold minimization. With drivers, the Wraith, Orc, Beast, and Valk are all in the same distance/speed range approximately. I'd probably pick up an more overstable Champ Wraith, to take the place of the Orc, and then maybe Pro Wraith to take the place of Valk, and...

Warm up Baskets... Why Not a Warm-Up Net?

I don't agree with the nets. Without seeing how the disc flies, you might be warming up improperly, and hence affecting you're first few drives until you've corrected it.

[Recommend] Ascent a good repleacemnt for the Banshee?

Banshees are my go to fairway driver. Advice: Buy more Banshees.

    Teebird to Cyclone?

Cyclone. I preferred them to learning to shape lines since they're a bit slower.

    Time for a new driver...

I would have suggested a PD, but with those distances, there's not much point. I'd go for either a Teebird or Stalker, and just learn to push those out there for awhile.

    Seattle area..

Since I've moved to Seattle, I've only played SeaTac and Terrace Creek each once. I liked Terrace Creek better so I recommend that one (plus it's easier to go north than south coming from downtown). I felt SeaTac has several redundant holes in sequence, and is harder to navigate/find the...

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Official Thread)

Ah, I overlooked the plastic names. And as for the "I", you have the Impulse, which would be a pretty solid name now that I think of it.

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Official Thread)

I don't know where the subatomic particles (or fields with respect to Higgs-Boson) are coming from. That's definitely not the trend I see when looking at the names. Putter - circuitry/electrical networks, Mids - basic geometrical terminology, Drivers - EM related quanities (maybe physics units...

    Snap

Snap is the motion that generates the initial spin of the disc. If you're throwing the disc, you have snap. The goal is not create more snap, since that's only done by pulling the disc to a greater speed; the goal of the golfer is to have the least impedance on the snap that's generated. This...
