I first started playing on Pender Island when it was all tonals and as far as I knew that was how disc golf was played. The first time I played at a different course and saw baskets I was really confused. I believe my actual words at the time were, "What the hell are those things?!" :D

So, do NOT attempt to wash CE discs. Check. :p

My best utility disc is a Spider. I use it for all kinds of shots and especially for getting out of trouble.

I've driven from Vancouver BC to Seattle for day discin' trips several times. It takes about 2.5-3.5 hours each way depending on the border wait times. Totally worth it.

I say just go do it. I doubt you'd be thrown in jail or anything. You'd most likely just be asked to to leave if anyone had a problem with it. Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

I got my first Glow Ace on Sunday night! A 300 foot slightly downhill shot with a dx glow Roc that disappeared out of sight and then just smashed the chains. I wasn't sure it was in until I walked down to the basket.

I wish the tourney I played on Nov. 30 didn't make the cut, but it did. Down 12 points to 926. No longer officially an Advanced player. :wall:

I only say, "Nice!" after an actual nice shot and after the disc has come to rest. I personally don't like it when someone "Nices" a not very nice shot. It doesn't piss me off though.

I'm up 10 to 938. Finally, I'm actually rated to be an Advanced player! Barely. :D
