My Drone doesn't get used nearly as much as I would like to, but only because the situation doesn't call for it. I love when I have to use it though. It always does exactly what it's supposed to. If something goes wrong, I immediately know that I've screwed up somehow. Not like my other...
Ok, so I found a Xcaliber yesterday at Prairie Center dgc (Olathe, Ks)... no name, no number. If anyone out there is missing one, and can tell me the color, weight, and hole where it was lost, I'd be more than happy to give it back to you!
My buddies and I were playing a round at the aptly named Cliff Drive (Kansas City) on Sunday. We were on the 8th hole. Each of us throws our drive, which is a blind, dogleg right, and start out towards the fairway, when my buddy notices the back end of a minivan sticking out of the bushes. As...

What a great course.
The first half of the course is moderately to heavily wooded, and uses the natural changes of elevation to create a technical front 9 that is, to date, the most challenging I have played.
The back 9 of this course is wide open and long. There are a few...
So, I bought a Surge 150 yesterday. Ran to my favorite course, and immediately fell in love with it. It seemed to run straight and fast, with minimal fade at the end, and I feel like I got more distance with it than I do with my Avenger ss (168g).
I don't have the biggest arm, and usually...
last thursday, here in KC, we had almost perfect weather. 65 and sunny, a great day to go and play. today...36, cloudy, and damn near a foot of snow on the ground. waaaaa....i wanna play!!!
Avenger SS FLX 173g...a heavier version of my favorite driver.
Putt'r Elite-X 165g...just trying to find a putter i like. (I have a Pig and an Aviar)

so these are my newest, and admittedly newbish...
I am travelling to Ft. Worth/Dallas for Christmas, and was wondering which course I should look into playing. I've looked through the course ratings, and those have been helpful, but I much prefer a personal reference.
I'm looking for a course that isn't terribly long, and is more technical...
Avoiding trees...if there is one errant limb that seems to hang lower, or stand taller, that's exactly where my disc is going...
Seriously though. PUTTING. my putting is absolutely awful. I have tried so many things; slowing down, going faster, aiming higher, aiming lower, controlling my...

quite simply...a really good course
-alot of different pin placements.
-really nice variation in types of holes, some are in the woods, or out in the open, some play right to left and vice versa. a few tunnel shots come into play also.
-almost every hole has some sort of challenge, alot of the...
1. Getting more distance, more consistantly on my drives.
2. Buying more discs that compliment my playing style.
3. Playing more often.
4. Finding a routine that works and helps me focus on my putting. (my achilles heel)
5. To play a few courses outside of my home area.
just picked up a Raging Inferno - 173, and a Buzzz FLX - 174 yesterday. Can't wait to get out today and try em out. the hell of it is, I got them in heavier weights to fight the wind a little better...and wouldn't you know it...no wind today!
I play because I love it. For most of the aforementioned reasons.
- I love the sight of disc as it leaves my hand, and goes where I want it to go. Or even when it doesn't, I love trying to figure out why.
-I love the sound of the chains when you sink that putt.
-Hanging out with my friends...
The first time I ever even heard of disc golf was in 1997, when I met my girlfriend (now wife), and she was telling me how she and a bunch of her friends would go out and play all the time. She often asked if I wanted to join them and play a round. I had absolutely NO interest at all. I mean...
